Completely agree. A Decepticon in dark purple and black would be ideal for me.

Update: TFW2005 board member Sanchimaru has brought us a translation, lending more credence to Takara’s version of Victorion being a Decepticon. It also suggests there may be only five members, as opposed to the US version’s six.

“The text says:

– Oh my, my… as the emperor of destruction’s wife… I can’t ignore this.
– Let them have a taste of the force of the 5 of us.”

I thought Emperor of Destruction was only Deszaras' title, so thought that it would be creating the Destron families seen at the end of the Victory manga.

However according to TFwiki title has also been applied to Megatron. Interesting to see what comes out of this.

I've just been collecting the original G1 combiners in the Unite Warrriors line, but wow that set is striking! IMO it looks a lot more interesting than the Hasbro Victorion.

Nice to have them doing something different, and another Decepticon combiner to even up the sides.
The colours are a bit weird though, with bright and black. The Voyager is obviously coloured like Megatron, so maybe his queen.

The names are even weirder... I wonder what the thinking was behind them.
Lunaclub, Flowspade, Trickdiamond... and Moonheart (not a very evil sounding name - or a MLP name).

To be released in January, and will be 16,200yen. Should be released in Asia by Hasbro HK as well.

I find these way more exciting and individual looking than the local release. Outside of the leader the colours remind me of the Actionmaster and G2 years, while the combined bot looks very fluro the colour breakup seems to be a lot better thought out than Victorion, who I find poorly delineated by her colour placement.

Having better colours than Victorion isn't hard. :p "Megatronia" is a pretty silly name but in all honesty, no more ridiculous than Victorion (or even "Superion" or even "Chromia") so... Megatronia awaaaaay! :o

That also explains the change in the name from Japanese to english. LunaClub's name in Japanese is Luna Clover, it struck me as odd that such a bad translation of the katakana would happen.

I personally get a very powerrangers/ G-force (ie coloured members) feel from these guys. I prefere the look of them over Victorion, but won't get them as I don't really like that helicopter mode too much.

Shame as I'd rather like to have the car characters. Mega Empress looks pretty cool in her silver and Trickdiamond and Flowspade look nice with their black/other colour combo.

Even with the cards reference to justify those names, they are truly bad names.....:D:rolleyes:

I actually really like them. Much cooler looking than Victorion imho and I love the colour scheme. Almost has this G2 kinda feel about it. Having them as female decepticons also makes it a must (who am i kidding, even if they just repainted the eyes or something only I was always going to get this, damn completionist mentality!)
