Hmm very interesting. I was looking at Lego Red Five X-wings (10240) very recently, i.e. last week, and plenty were going for about $400. Today I look at eBay and they are pretty much up around $450.

Has eBay jacked up the prices to compensate or is something else going on?

Tonight I bit the bullet and got the SDCC GIJoe/Transformers set... which basically ended up with free shipping after the 15% off was applied.
The first time I tried to process the order it failed, and the second time said it was a success but still processing.
Hopefully it worked, as I'd hate to have to reprocess it tomorrow without the discount.
