Unfortunately we can't (legally) obtain the recent Transformers advertising posters, and Hasbro Australia tried to get some back for us fans, but were unable to... so they did the next best thing - they were allowed to release the three Titans Return posters as digital images to A1 paper size (that's eight times the size of regular A4 paper), and asked me to share them among the fandom, to use as wallpapers, or have printed out as posters if you have somewhere that can do it for you. (the image links will also be sent to TFW and Seibertron, to mirror as well if they choose, for greater, fairer, exposure)
So a huge thankyou to Hasbro for going to this trouble for us fans, it is greatly appreciated.

Since these are big image files (of about 8Mb each), at 4677x6622 pixels, they are available from two sources here, thanks to Paulbot (who set up the Dropbox option).
When the Dropbox quota runs out from the first set of links, use the second set of links which are hosted on my own server. (and let me know, so I can remove the expired Dropbox links)

A reminder of what the three posters look like...

Thanks Griffin and Paulbot! I downloaded Fort Max and Galvatron, don't really have an interest in PM Optimus.

Much appreciated guys.

If anybody gets one printed in Melbourne can you let me know where and how much? Would be nice to frame that Fort Max poster to go along with my SDCC Fort Max.

Awesome posters :)

Officeworks offers A1 (594mm x 841mm) colour printing. According to their website the following paper is offered:

160gsm coated $20.00
200gsm gloss $33.50
200gsm satin $33.50

Laminating costs $12.00 per A1 sheet.

We might have some trouble getting officeworks to print them off - from what I'm aware they can be quite strict when it comes to scanning/copying/printing of copyrighted material.

Recent example here: https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2562938

Who knows, it might end up being the case with these as well

GSM is the thickness/strength of the card. The higher the number the thicker the "paper". As an example, regular paper you would use in your printer is normally 80 GSM.

Coated, Gloss and Satin are just different finishes and you should probably go and look at the samples they would have in store to see which you prefer as it often comes down to personal preference (I normally like gloss myself but know others who prefer coated).

It's worth a try. They can only say no. :)

Shouldn't be an issue if the artwork was released by Hasbro Australia to be printed by fans. Did Hasbro Australia release an official statement?

That would be a shame... but hopefully they don't have a problem with it.
There is a franchise up here called Image Plus (could be national, I don't know), and they print up images on all sorts of things, so should do posters too. (or do a google search for print shops in your area)

I think if you crop the the Transformers name from the right side and the section below the "Titans Return", and get the remaining image printed on the back or front of a T-shirt, it could turn out quite nice.

Am I the only one that sees Trypticon's Tail and Head in the Fort Max picture?

Trypticon teaser?

Trypticon teaser?

Yep, someone had posted up on TFW that the Fort Max poster is half of a battle scene shown at this years SDCC, which can be seen here at Seibertron (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/transformers-titans-return-trypticon-artwork-at-hasbro-booth-teases-fort-max-fight-scene-sdcc2016/35896/).

The interesting thing though, that you've unintentionally pointed out, is that the hi-res images that Hasbro sent us, are not the same as the bus shelter posters... suggesting that they must have had them redone, as they have given us a little more of each image.
The left side could just be put off as being cropped by the printers of the advertising posters, but the right side of the artwork is bordered by the big "Transformers" wording, and all three hi-res images have a little more of each artwork before the black bar on the right.
Fort Max is the most interesting one as you can actually see the snout of Trypticon, but in the Galvatron poster you can actually see what he is holding, while the Optimus poster shows the rest of his gun.

Now I'm even more impressed with the effort Hasbro Australia went to with these... actually giving us better posters than the public advertisement posters. A big thumbs up for Hasbro. :D

Cheers to Hasbro and yourself Griffin for this pics!

Think I will get Optimus and Galvatron printed in A2 and Fort Max in A1 and laminated at the local printers. Hope they don't muck it up like they did the laminating of my CW posters.

Any chance the CW posters were released in high-res that could be printed in A1? If so would you be able to point me in the right direction Trev?

Cheers.

Has anyone had these printed out yet, or had any printer knock them back yet?

I will try it out myself eventually, but just need to find the time to get to an Officeworks to test it out.

I'm eyeing the powermaster prime for the boys room....

Don't have an Officeworks in town; and I'm not sure if I have a local printy place. I'll check though. I want Galvatron (my namesake :D) and Fort Max. As I said before not keen on PM Prime. :o

I went to an Officeworks today and as per the prices quoted by kovert the other day from their website, it will cost me $100.50 for the three to be done at A1 in glossy poster format.
I have to wait until Friday to pick them up though, so a bit of a wait. :(
The guy at the register who created the job and took my money didn't question the source of the images to reject it, but I'll have to see if I get notified during the week to say that it can't be done (by whomever actually does the printing).

The $33.50 gloss option is the one that looked to be most poster like, as the $20 option is very flat, like printing the image yourself at home on your printer... while the satin option gives a grainy photograph appearance to the image.

If you can't get it done where you live, see if you have any relatives or friends near one to get it done for you, or if you are willing to pay postage maybe pay someone here to get it done for you and post it.

I Just ordered a Fort Max poster to be printed at my local print shop. A little more expensive than Officeworks, but I should have it back tomorrow. :D

They didn't seem to have any issues regarding copyright. The lady asked me if it was a game, and I told her that it was for the new Transformers toyline. We'll see how it goes!

Also for those who have seen the bus stop posters, are they a decent size? I'm getting an A1 size printed, but it kind of looked a little small for a poster judging by the print shop's template on the wall. Might just be my eyes, but I was curious how the legit posters looked.

The bus poster are massive, they fit the side wall of a bus shelter!
Certainly bigger then your normal paper sizes

How much did it run you?

A1 is roughly 60 x 90cm from memory - the bus posters are quite bigger - I'd say roughly the size of 2/3rds of a standard room door.

A1 I think is the perfect size for hanging on a room wall. It's what a lot of music posters are made up as, any bigger just looks way to over the top in a house setting.

Cool, thanks man. I barely have busses in my town, let alone bus shelters to get a sense of scale from :p

It could have just been my eyes playing tricks on me, as their office was quite big with a lot of space on the walls. Probably made the A1 size look smaller than it really is. :o

As for price, it's going to run me about $45 on a thick, glossy paper. Its expensive, but they do good work usually and the turnaround time is quick. I don't know the exact specs of the paper, but I explained that I wanted something of the same/better quality as a normal advertising poster.

Picked it up today, and it looks awesome! It got printed on A1 photographic paper, which is nice and heavy. The lady also said that in her opinion, it would probably scale up to A0 size without much (if any) significant image degradation. Now to find a frame for it!

Not to my knowledge, as far as I am aware you only got them if you purchased the figures. The reason we have high-res scans of these posters is that Hasbro is being nice to the Aus fans via Griffin :)

I'd scan mine for you but the guy I got to laminate mine stuffed them up and they are covered in air bubbles :( The only thing is because he stuffed them up he said that he will laminate my next lot for free so might get the 3 TR posters done in A1 to take advantage of the deal :D
