Yeah, a pretty poor comic character. It's got no "Sideswipe" feel at all. The fan art linked to in to the comments is much better.

Luckily its a UK only comic story (so we may possibly get an IDW reprint of the new UK Animated comics, a-la Saga of the Allspark).

I'm not exactly over-enthused on the design either, it doesn't have any real links to Sideswipe, and is even pushing the Animated designs a little too far.

I like Animated's aesthetic, but this seems like someone trying to emulate it and failing badly.

Oh yes, and he does look like Ironman. Cue Black Sabbath!

Hmm, the windshield on his chest in the first image makes him look more car-like to me... well an Autobot Pretender type of car mode anyway

I think that very much looks like a motorcycle faring/windscreen. What's leading me on is that kibble thing in both drawings and only two wheels being visible.

That doesn't even look like it fits-in with Animated... *shakes head*
