He looks good but his legs are bit short, he's kind of cute looking. My money is on $400. Skyfire was surprisingly affordable given his size. I assume he'll be a composite of diecast and plastic as with most FT figures.

FT are really killing it. I have Quakewave and Soar and they're bloody marvelous. I'm definitely a fan.

And yeah given their track record for releases I cant wait to get this in a few years.

The time frame for delivery will probably be late 2017 and then drop back to 2018 hehe, plenty of time to save up. It would be nice to get a release order though as they have announced quite a bit lately, Springer, Kup, Seaspray, Omega, Devi still have Hotrod and Skyfire too ... oh man my wallet (forever saving up)

Yep I agree. I would also class myself as not only a Transformers collector but now also a Fans Toys collector as I pretty much get their figures as religiously as I do the Takara/Hasbro releases. They are my favourite 3P company around and I like that mostly they seem to do bots that may not get an official Masterpiece release.

I was very loyal to TT but fantoys Willis had changed my mine and I don't deserve to keep punishing myself buying stuff and be disappointed in what I always wanted for a masterpiece .

Being said TT Megatron is great. I only waiting on a jazz to close up.
Even if this gets made, I don't want to turn 50 waiting for it.

If not wrong TT/hasbro is suppose to annouce their Titans trypticon and maybe an omega but not in the masterpiece line.

Some people have a way of calculating things without any consideration and is like asking stores to close down just because they don't even consider profit for a company.

Normally if a product is released stores should have them immediately or within a reasonable time frame.

If it's not immediate or there is delays involved, any decent retailer would communicate this to customers, it's pretty much the norm for most retailers online and offline.

Where on earth did you read anything about flying to and from honk kong to save money? If you must know, I'll be buying from tao and having it flown over to me. Yes, not only will i save money, I'll also get in a reasonable time like i have previously buying from my tao seller.

I have absolutely no doubt that there are very impatient people, but don't confuse people who've waited weeks and / or months for a package simply because they weren't first batch with those that have unreasonably high expectations.

The issue is the continued unknown and lack of info for goods already released, all retailers should be able to provide some level of transparent updates on when items are expected to land since those info are available to suppliers and distributors .

Just like you simply assume I continue to buy new items from PC, I've moved on long ago and unfortunately have few old orders from long ago that needs to fulfilled, and with everyone they process a new issue and pain point comes up thus feedback is provided

it still doesn't excuse the fact they haven't delivered on a product they "guaranteed" here on otca, haven't updated on their page informing customers as to why they haven't fulfilled, and haven't offered any refunds and waited for people to ask instead. Whatever the big conspiracy is that your suggesting to be privy to and being so secretive about is irrelevant and it all still points to poor customer service.

Due to it being a private matter I will not be posting it. Henceforth I had asked he pmed me about it. I do hear what you are saying about pulling rank. My post was not really aimed at that and it was mainly because he is new to the forum. His reply seems to be a bit over confident that he knows all the issues about PC . Being said PC is an Aussie retailer not Hong Kong not Japan as many here seem to immediately reflect as the item is released so PC must have the stock already.

I rather talk about omega but it seems like PC is a main talking point whenever price and lateness is involved. But hey they don't seem to mind it when they order it despite knowing full well of their reputation about being later than other known retailers.

it still doesn't excuse the fact they haven't delivered on a product they "guaranteed" here on otca, haven't updated on their page informing customers as to why they haven't fulfilled, and haven't offered any refunds and waited for people to ask instead. I do care when I'm expected to promptly pay up front. In return i expect prompt service. Like I've stated on the pc thread here, I've had service from pc that ranged from excellent to poor. The poor experiences unfortunately weren't acceptable and given the comments I've read from pc, they have no intention of making any improvements on their service because of the cost they say will be incurred on their customers which is the main attraction people have. As a result, I've decided to no longer shop there as my experience with others stores have been consistently excellent and well worth paying the little extra.

This was why I feel a rule should be in place where pre orders should not be happening if product in not ready in 6 months. I don't trust the store enough. I know collectors drift a lot more and very upfront in service. However if you bought from pc it is a choice to leave it so you can claim charge back or dispute with pc and get a long wait.

I think DX9 looks great as well, I actually at this point cant say one is better as both have their own good points. But if I am on a budget, DX9 will be my direction. I have to say, after owning a few Fan Toys pieces, this has been the only saving grace of my hobby.

I wish Takara can learn a bit from this company and improve on their own products.

I want to say quit in buying anymore tfs but Fan Toys is actually making it very difficult for me to do it. Their quality is amazing, I thought Grinder was very ordinary till I have it on hand and felt this is the way tf masterpieces should have been made.

I hope This piece has no issues, definitely looking forward to one.

I think Titans Omega will be in, however we are talking about two separate series. This one is more focused on Masterpiece, if you feel this is too expensive, the DX9 isn't a bad consideration either at $280ish?

The one thing that I have been impressed with Fan Toys so far is quality.

For those looking for "in stock" screenshots, I believe Chimungmung has it in stock. ;)

Just giving my thoughts.

Wow is awesome. Not without flaws but awesome.

Swirl marks , not much on my copy so yay this is a great piece.
Is a heavy back figure so posing it is a challenge. I wish some weights were added to the feet.

Transformation, apart from learning how to split and put together the legs everything else is quite straight forward. I have no issues on second attempt without instructions. It's simply a matter of understanding what you should do.

Overall 8.8 out of 10 for me.

Yeh I caved in and bought it too. It's the bomb. Swirly marks are not noticeable from a distance and really not bad at all. Had none of the irritating issues I had with the FT Dibots. Was surprised at how stable and solid it feels. Will post a pic tomorrow of this and the Dibots.
