Go for it beast wars fans. If none of you get it, then I know you're not as much of a fan as you say you are. ;) :D

Wow! That is very cool, unfortunitely my fondness of TFs isn't parallel to how much I'll spend on them because that is cool.

It's a prototype. Most fans don't collect prototypes - they're not really that valuable. People only tend to collect them as novelties... I personally wouldn't be prepared to drop US$2k on a novelty though. (-_-)

& I've gotta feeling this guy (http://forums.tformers.com/talk/index.php?showtopic=100071) will most likely acquire it... ;)

nice prototype though and i would buy it if the price arent that high..prob minus a zero away and i'll consider. anyway, what throws me off this auction is this:

SHIPPING AND HANDLING OF THIS ITEM IS FREE!!!*

*Depending on your location, I will most likely use Priority Mail, but for expense purposes, some countries I may have to downgrade it to First Class International. Don't worry, I'll let you know which one I use!

FREE shipping yet seller is deciding to go a cheaper, unsafe, non-trackable postage method for does not JUSTIFY for the amount to be paid for which doesn't seem right to me

Likewise its nice, but the price tag is way over the top.

That's funny, because that was exactly what I was challenging you with. :p

Oh yes, and another one down.

Uhh... no... it was you who suggested that purchasing prototypes of BW toys is an integral part of being a true Beast Wars fan, not me. I've never ever suggested or alluded anything like that.

So as you can see, it was you who made the claim that a true BW fan would have to bid on this prototype, hence why I told you to put your money where your mouth is and buy this freakin' toy! Otherwise, according to your own logic, you are not a true fan.

I never made such a claim so I am not bound by that rationale.

I'm suprised Hasbro didn't release it as a Nemesis Optimal Optimus or some such sh!t with a colour scheme like that.

Nah, the whole "Black Optimus = evil Optimus" thing didn't really happen until Car Robot with Black Convoy (RiD Scourge). ;)

Meh. I'd rather track down a Primal Prime. Cheaper and a better display piece.

And canonically relevant! :)
