The last thread got deleted because of hotlink issues but some new pics have been released and he looks pretty gorgeous. I was having second thoughts about my pre-order but the pics show he fits really well with the MP lot.

Absolutely no regrets so far ordering one.
The only fault was when someone tried to do a gerwalk mode like macross valks.
I found it unnecessary as he was never meant for it.

Found it. Daca Toys Kronos..... Comparing the two, this one looks better than the eArlier release. Wouldn't have thought Jetfire would be popular enough for two MP scaled figures

It looks like there might be one. If you look where the faction symbol goes in both modes it looks like it's sitting on a flip panel. Would be cool if factored this in.

I only worry about omega supreme, lets hope pray not too much delays from FT. I get tired looking at reviews when the toy is not officially release, it just kind of frustrating sometimes.

Yup and even 4-5 minutes months. Look at the other ft products, it says a lot.

I'm glad I grabbed him through pc with the size and weight I can Imagine shipping being phenomenal.

Anyone here concerned about the lack of waist swivel? Personally I'm not but it would of helped get him in a pose that would fit in my Cabinet.

yup...........I think I am glad I didn't buy trypticon now, I wouldn't be able to fit even maybe as it is. I will struggle with Skyfire but I know he isn't that huge of a problem.

I dunno why, but I am actually more interested in this figure than MP-36 at this point.

I think two down sides were mentioned.

1. Paint apps were reduced as is using coloured plastic as opposed to painting.
2. No waist rotation < slight bummer but thats like Magnus MP

No idea, though I am hoping they surprise us. I think the main worry is each online store may be allocated a few and the rest have to wait longer.

Sweet! It was due in April, but I'll take a one month delay over a six month wait... except, I ordered from PC as well, so the extra delay will be around October anyway I guess.

Painted? Really? I'm not too fussed as from the reviews of samples it looks pretty good to me. The visible screw holes and lack of waist swivel is a minor issue though

Yup really, I am not getting a masterpiece. I am getting a Fantoys, so yes really is like a drop in standard.

Given pc's track record with ft products, i think it's a pill you might be better off swallowing sooner rather than later. Ft10 will be a popular figure so the aftermarket prices are going to soar. In saying that though, this could work to your advantage when trying to sell your pc ft10 if and when it arrives. I don't think today's cd price will be that bad 12 months from now compared to aftermarket prices, so you may get your cd money back

I have met the guy and he is very easy to deal with. Trust is in short supply at the moment so paying a bit more (especially if you can pick it up in person) may well be worth it.

Favourite toy for this year over my Megatron.

Here are my thoughts.

FT Pheonix is a very good attempt for Jetfire/SkyFire MP.
Okay so I had an overall feel, and I am okay with it not being painted in many areas as I would imagine the folding of the Arms in place would scratch. The White plastic is very pleasant, I dont have issues.

Face, it looks good to me and I am happy with FT attempt.

Hands, good articulation for each finger and it screams better than masterpiece.

Transformation, is quite easy after my first attempt and didn't need to look at instructions again.

What is bad?
Well people pointed no waist rotation which I agree a bit but it doesn't bug me that much.

No stand base for plane mode? Only adapter provided?

the two small wing tips behind keeps popping off and should have a better fit.

Overall?
8.5/10 or even 9, is only missing made by Takara tag but I for one may not be interested in the Takara version if they release.

Is such a tall figure that it is hard to place in a display cabinet.

Relying on Fantoys is a bit hard enough, and relying on a bad reputation retailer that constantly gives bad updates, you might be going to miss out on this fantastic figure altogether.

This figure reminds me of the bad times I had with PC and how this figure brightened my day. I am glad my copy is not from PC period.

The biggest kick in the nuts for me is that I decided against getting MP36 as I already had FT10 on order :mad:
