Word has been going around social media (https://www.facebook.com/CDKRK/photos/a.162535540472523.36517.162533137139430/1351049711621094/?type=3&permPage=1) that Dick Gautier, the voice of post-Movie Rodimus Prime, Apeface and Firebolt (plus Serpentor for all you Joe fans out there) passed away today. He was 85.

I tried to get his autograph a few times but he refused to send it internationally (you could purchase a Get Smart photo from his website). Sad news...

I was just watching an interview with him on DVD earlier this evening. :( :(

Dick always reminded me of a Capo Bastone or Consigliere, not a voice actor.

The FB link that Paul Agnew provided has no references. I tried Googling news on Dick Gautier, but nothing's come up about his passing.

I saw the post about it on Seibertron. Its so weird to see this man's face, because for me he always looked liked Rodimus Prime! I feel sorry for this man's family, but its touching that his passing means so much to so many.

I actually only knew of him from Get Smart however of course he was a multi-talented man.
