Wave 4 Titans Return toys now showing up in Australia

The first of the fourth wave of Titans Return toys have started showing up in Australia... and we are still yet to see a decent release of the wave 3 Voyagers and Leaders.

The fourth wave Voyager Broadside was found first at BigW, and the fourth wave Leader Skyshadow was found at Myer.


Can confirm there was 1 Broadside at Big W Tuggerah. I bought him. Surprising given there were only a few old legends and Wave 1 Voyagers.

The Titanmasters from wave four (Repugnus and Shuffler) are now out in Australia, with a couple of Perth Kmart stores stocking them first.


Just grabbed Titan Masters Shuffler and Repugnus from Kmart Midland.

That still leaves the Legends (Brawn & Roadburn) and the Deluxes (Kup, Perceptor, Krok, Quake, Topspin) to be found here... after being out in other countries since February.

I consider this line ended as soon as those movie toys hit. Unless they have heaps of inventory yet to put out, the movie toys showing up will not be a good sign. I never found an overboard. :(

Try TRU Aspley when they get their movie toys in as the Garden City store got in that wave this week. Also, some Kmarts were getting them as well, if they weren't clogged with wave 2.

Check Brisbane South side if you get a chance. I have seen multiples of Titan Masters Overboard at Kmart Sunnybank Hills, Woodridge etc in my travels. I think I may of even seen wave 3 TM's at Toyworld Springwood on the weekend

Maybe some wave 4 cases were in the last shipping container from China, or got sent out before the wave 3 cases by accident from the Hasbro warehouse... because we are only now getting a proper replenishment of wave 3 (Optimus & Megatron) to stores.

I just had a look at the toy release listing, and I realised that when the ToysRUs at Garden City got in their Movie toys last week, and restocked all the size classes for Generations, they were all wave 3 size classes. It's coincidence, but makes for a convenient source of a whole wave if you can get to a TRU (as others will probably be restocking the same as well).

Which means, the wave 4 toys may only now be about to show up at various stores... not just the one store chain so far (like Skyshadow at Myer, Broadside at BigW and Shuffler/Repugnus at Kmart). Despite being out in other countries in February, and wave 5 toys now about to be released globally.

Someone on TFW has mentioned finding wave 4 Deluxe toys at EB/Zing... so they might have the new wave available to them (I think you can get them to order them in too).

Goi g around is just yielding no results, Ill just buy them when I go overseas in a month, plenty of stock there and fingers crossed are on sale coz the moviebots will be the primary figures theyre gonna try to sell. And unlike here they do lower their price. :D:D:D

Legends w4 are now here, just a week or two after being found in America... and some three months since they were out in Asia.

Just need the Deluxes to show up and we can finally move onto looking out for wave 5 toys.

FINALLY... the last of the fourth wave of Titans Return toys have been found in Australia, some 3 months after they were first found in Asia and America.

UNFORTUNATELY.... it looks like the delay of getting Wave 4 here has meant that we missed out on the regular wave 4 assortment, and have instead received a REVISION wave 4, as only Quake and Krok have been found at a number of stores. (the full assortment of this revision case is not yet known, but it could be wave 3 toys filling out the rest of the case)

What about Topspin, Perceptor and Kup?
There are not details (yet) about future case assortments beyond the regular wave 4 on the usual sites that list case assortments, so there is no information about if these three toys will see a return in future waves... but we just have to hope they will, as wave 5 has an odd number of new toys (Twintwist, Misfire, new Windblade), and I would think that Topspin would at least be re-released with Twintwist.

Until we know more, if you desperately want Perceptor, Kup and Topspin, perhaps look online for a reliable, affordable source.


Okay, screw RID. Just found Quake and Krok in Civic Target.

Edit: naturally, they're not in the system and don't scan. But eventually they found a code they could use.

But it raises the question - did they leave all the Autobots out the back, or do they only have half the wave?

Yep. Seems wave 4 has been skipped and straight to revision case which only has Krok and Quake. Those 2 plus plethora of Breakaway and Twinferno

Not seeing too much of a problem here. Kup is already getting a Legends release and it's likely that we'll see Topspin and Perceptor getting one too. I can't see TT not using a fully engineered mould when it's already sitting there.

Ahhh Frustrating. History repeating itself with Aus missing out on TF's worth getting again :mad:. I bet we get every movie verse figure though :rolleyes:
The Targets I visit sure do have a lot of Twinferno already and as far as I know QLD hasn't even received any of the W2 17 Assortments which is only going to add to the shelf warming masses of this figure once the Krok's and Quake's are snapped up...

I got quake up here in qld, it was hidden, with only a krok left (and twinferno and triggerhappy, so guessing it wasnt revision and i missed out on the others).

From what I can tell it seems obvious that Kmart and Target are getting the revision 2 cases of wave 4 (aka Kroc and Quake only) while BigW are getting a small supply of original wave 4 cases (aka all 5 wave 4 figures). Dont know if this will change but BigW are expecting a lot more of everything in time for the big toy sale at the end of June at least so I'd be relying on them more then the other two

Just saw on Facebook that TR Kup, Perceptor and Topspin are showing up at some Myers stores.
Price is $30 but with the 20% off toys that's on till tomorrow it makes them $24 so if you have no luck at BigW try Myer

Wave 4 Broadside is now showing up in stores, after the 1 or 2 BigW sightings a few months ago.
This was at ToysRUs in Brisbane yesterday, but I would expect other retailers getting them soon too.

I was at target Cockburn 2 days ago and they weren't scanning, they held it for me because they couldn't sell it without them scanning.

Went back again and same situation. They are going to call their it department tonight so I'll have to travel back to Cockburn target again later on...

I tried. I even took trigger happy and showed that scanned. They even said maybe it was an embargo and called them movie toys! I corrected them saying they aren't movie toys and they are sold at their competitors. Still no cake!!!

So apparently they are going to call i.t tonight...at this time of day. I'm not expecting anything to come from it.

Had exactly the same issue yesterday on perceptor, kup & kroc @ my local Target. Common sense in my case, they just scanned another deluxe and I was on my way. There was definitely something unusual about that wave tho.
