Figure Detailing Question

I was wondering how they are doing the emphasis of the lines on each of the figures.

Have they used a wash or do you you think it was Gundam markers or similar. If it is a wash, what sort do you think they used?

Facebook video player is the worst.

In regards to the panel lining, they probably went with a wash off black paint and then wiped it off, dulling the shine of the plastic. It also looks like they may have given Soundwave a repaint because he looks like he has a matte finish.

Yeah they definitely used ink.

Obviously didn't add anything to break the surface tension of the ink because it blobbed up resulting in uneven dotted lines.
