Official Transformers pages uploaded a teaser for an upcoming trailer which will be released on Wednesday the 12th of April, 2017 (Thursday over here, I assume). The announcement video can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DudMKOYYNjY

I think that this announcement video is worth watching, as it does have a few new shots of the knights and more.

Another short (spoiler) teaser with a voice over by Anthony Hopkins (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h17uAFivWt4) has also been released in the last week, giving us some nice images of Transformers throughout time.... but I think if this is the basis of the 5th movie, there must be a fair bit of retconning happening.

(not that story/character contradictions between TFs movies isn't new... I just think it would be good if it had a plausible explanation for a change, that didn't just expect viewers to merely forget the previous plots)

That was a by the books epic trailer.
More colour filters.
More sunsets
More panning shots
More lens flare
More bloody sliding down something action scenes.
More heroic betrayal

I feel like I've seen the movie already, in all the previous movies.

I think I'll make a michael bay movie drinking game

Trailers are meant to make you want to see the movie.

That trailer doesn't make want to see the movie. <- Why?
Because that trailer consists of a lot of the same stuff that's in the previous movies.

Trust me when I say I want the movie to be good, but so far, nothing has convinced me that it will be any better (nor worse though, I'll give it that) than the previous ones.
