The Movie toys are now officially here, and the first ones have just been found today at some Kmarts in Sydney... just 3 days before the official
release date (expect most stores to hold onto them until Monday).

So far found are the Titan Changers Optimus and Bumblebee (above - which leaked to a Toyworld store in February by mistake), but expect the
full onslaught of wave 1 Deluxe, Voyager, Legions, Knight Armor Turbo Changers, 1-step Turbo Changers, the Tiny Turbo Changers... and maybe some others.

First wave Deluxe and Voyagers that will be in stores in the next few days...

I would have liked to find something mainline, instead of the titans (again!) but am patient - as the ones I really want are in a later wave.

Bugger. Next 18 months of these shelf warming. Ah well, look forward to the better releases like Combiner Wars and the Head Masters have been in 2019.

Hey look, 'bee is wearing snow shoes! :D

I've not seen a single toy from this movie I want. TR toys better keep coming or Hasbro won't be getting any of my money for a while.

I'm guessing kmarts will be the first to put anything out since most stores are still clogged with TR (big w and myer although myer only ever holds a small assortment most of the time) while kmart's have a HUGE space for tf's that aren't even close to being filled...I had hoped I would see some tr voyager wave 3's or even 4's but I guess not :c

All I want now is tr trypticon until mp movie bee comes

The blind bags have a small clear panel on the back so getting the one you are after is quite easy

The first person to see the full range in store, post up a photo here, so that I can distribute it as news.

So far nothing yet, would be *very* soon especially with toys r us.

Type in "transformers" in the search and there is a "transformers test" page, its recycling existing listings but the border is TLK themed.

And I think kmart is due as shelf space with those guys are just about empty or existing range is simply spread out, I don't expect much from big w or target since they crammed up on TR deluxes and such, my main worry is the price of these things, will they go up like the american ones have I wonder?

If we're lucky we'll see more tommorow, otherwise I think Thursday catalog change will give us more.

I'm actually very surprised that the stores didn't put out the Movie toys yesterday (April 24th).... like, ANY of the stores. It's like they all missed the launch day, as if the product didn't get released with enough time to get to any of the stores.

Anzac Day holiday may also have had some sway.

Saw in several TRUs over the weekend that they have moved some Transformer toys to a "In cinemas" section - but those shelves held Titans Return and RID toys - like a mirage when you see it across the store and get close to be disappointed.

Not so surprised myself, the stores (locally here in Tas at least) just don't care too much about these launches anymore. The Force Awakens had a big marketing campaign obviously, but Rogue One's launch day had almost nothing at all...I think maybe a TIE Striker at Kmart, and that was it. Age of Extinction was pretty light on too.

I think 'Dark of the Moon' was the last time I saw a big launch for Transformers toys.

And let's be fair, why should stores put the effort in when Hasbro didn't? So many repaints...

Stock wasn't supplied to store in time.

Our TLK delivery last Thursday consisted of 2 boxes of Titan Changers & 1 box of Tiny Turbo Changers.

The images weren't showing up for me (might just be my browser), so I had to look at the coding... and have mirrored the images on our server:

Finally, a decent range of Movie toys have arrived at a major retailer here, with Deluxe, 1-step ($19) and Armor Up Turbo Changers ($39).
At least the prices haven't changed for 1-steps and the replacement for 3-steps. Any word on the price for the Deluxe toys, since they are in boxes this time?

And I think Legions and Voyagers are the remaining April items yet to be seen here... so keep your eyes peeled, and let us know when you see them.

I know the Legions are bad; wave 1 entirely consists of repainted figures, and there's hardly any paint detail on them; but I'll probably end up impulse-buying one or two. It always happens to me every time there's a new movie line.

I hope the stores still continue bringing in Titans Return figures, especially Wave 4 Deluxes and Legends.

Deluxes are priced at $29.00EA. Didn't get the price for legion size as they have not been scanned into the system yet, tried to price check and had to get assistance. So I didn't bother.

Kmart had OP, BB, grimlock and barricade

$29... surprisingly good news, considering the size of the packaging and the price rise in America to US$20.

With the sighting of Legions, the Voyagers are the only thing left to find here of the April items.

Wave 1 Leader comes out with wave 2 of the other size classes, scheduled for June, to be in stores before the movie comes out... but we could see them earlier if stores need to replenish faster than expected.

Not surprising... ToysRUs have bumped up their pricing of the Deluxe class to $35 from $30, when Kmart didn't (compared to the 2014 toyline (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=18657)).

Toys R Us at Garden City has heaps and heaps of The Last Knight Deluxes ($35!!!!!!!!!!), the two sizes of Turbo Changers and Legions ($8).

Since "Premier Edition" is the Transformers version of Star Wars' "Black Series" and Marvel's "Legends", I was expecting these to be $35 everywhere (at least).

Thing is (least when they used the black and red boxes) all stores apart from "specialist" stores have all kept theirs at $35 even tru apart from that last exclusive they had, with toyworlds going up to $37 (most I seen for a BS 6inch was $50 from minotaur, no big surprise )

I know tru loves to charge more than others but $35 for a deluxe, the exclusives I have little choice, but the mainline stuff I can wait for kmart/sales

Looks like Voyagers missed the April launch, as they aren't showing up anywhere yet. Not sure what happened there as they should be in Australia with the rest of the April products.

Also, I saw in one of the Asian launches, they had the Optimus and Bumblebee character masks on shelf, so if we are getting them, they might show up here soon too.

Did we get something here that Australia did not ... shocking!

The Voyagers have a first week in June date at Big W and different PO than the rest of the movie stock.

Would it be safe to assume it'll be wave 1 that comes or assume its wave 2?

Wave 2 of the size classes (and wave 1 Leader) is scheduled for June, so if BigW aren't getting Voyagers in until June, they might not be getting wave 1 in.
Then again, if that's for all retailers, then maybe we aren't getting wave 1 here at all... which is odd, since the new Voyager Optimus toy is a central marketing figure for Hasbro globally.

Little Toy Company still has it listed and last time I spoke to them they use AU stock... so looks like they've just delayed things?

Someone here noted recently that the ToysRUs Australia website had just added a page for the Last Knight products (https://www.toysrus.com.au/transformers-the-last-knight?utm_source=eDM&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=[Wk14_PROMO_0105]), and on Monday they sent out an email to announce it (http://view.ed4.net/v/DWGCXZY/2TOGJ/M6BH87K/LQPK1G/?utm_source=eDM&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=[Wk14_PROMO_0105]).

The website has the similar "Mission to Cybertron" artwork on it that the American ToysRUs website has, but no mention of that exclusive mini-series on our site, so at this time, we still don't know if the promotion and exclusive toys will be coming here.
