Some people in America have found a running change with the RID Warrior Soundwave (https://www.allspark.com/forums/topic/139626-rid-warrior-soundwave-running-change/), which has a faceplate added (apparently extra plastic, not just painted on).
The faceplate was already on the packaging character art, so it is better replicating what may be the future form of Soundwave on the cartoon (if he returns), but it is still not the right colour though.
The alt-mode and now robot mode, look a lot more like the FOC Soundwave now, as the original face was pretty much the only thing left of it looking like the TFPrime Soundwave.
