I'm officially out of room for my collection :(
Predaking is sitting right beside me on my computer table, there isn't much more room in my office to fit anymore shelves either :(
I may be able to squeeze one more in but it makes the room look so damm small and untidy.........
Just a little Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Time to clean up that cupboard behind your desk and put some shelving in there. You can remove the cupboard doors too. ;)
OR, you can do like the rest of us with no space, container tubs. :D
Oh yea, happy birthday apparently. :)

You might need to consider getting yourself a collection room. ;)

I've been out of space for ages. Trying to find a glass display case so I can get more display room to display toys in. Have 15 unopened TFs because of this fact at the moment.
I also store all my collection transformers due to space issues. One day I'll be able to display them all.

You know what to do with that Predaking then soundwarp - PM me :D
Seriously though.. don't get bummed. I only have one large-ish shelf (and only got that recently!) The way i see it, unless i had a room dedicated to it.. i don't want my entire house covered with toys.. so i when i outgrow it (very soon!), i'll just be picking and choosing.. half the fun of displaying is choosing which one's go where, and it's not like you can't change ur mind later :)

Me too.
The problem is that the room i am in has my collection and my computer in it. If i remaove the computer and only have TF's in there i will not spend anywhere near the amout of time in here as i do. At the moment i am with my collection whenever i am on the net so im here heaps. I fear that if it becomes TF's only ..............

Yeah, the same thing happened when I last moved - I knew that I could no longer have a room with my computer _and_ Transformers in it. So it's true that I don't spend as much time w/ my Transformers as I used to. I basically go in there when I want to play with my Transformers or sometimes when I'm reading my TF comics - I like to be surrounded by my TFs when I do it.
I could put all my TFs in my lounge room where my computer is atm but that wouldn't be fair on my wife - and I imagine you'd be in a similar predicament. If I were single and living on my own then I would consider covering the entire house with Transformers for sure.
The plus side though is that it seriously cuts down DUST! :)

While I would love to, it's not quite that easy to "get" another room to become my TF room haha.. Maybe when I move out..
At the moment I'm pretty cramped, pretty soon every single bit of shelf space in my room will be taken up... And thats only with 30 or so TFs haha

Solved for now.
Problem is now that no matter what no more shelves will fit.

You don't need to see that window there...... :)

Heck no man, as the sun will damage the G1 goodliness :p

Not just G1 - UV will affect all paints. White is the worst. I took my Henkei Prowl out with me today ... I got a bit paranoid each time he was in direct sunlight. Eep!

I did put on a big rollar screen on the outside of the window and it reportedly reflects 30% of the rays, then there are the venetians then there is the big curtains.......
I'm nervous too.

Wow, that's hectic! I just have plain horizontal blinds. I keep them shut whenever I'm not in that room... although one time I did forget to shut them for nearly a whole day and it freaked me out. :p

And then we have our energy saver (UV emitting), bulbs too........ :)
No, what I meant was that you could put more shelves infront of that window, you'll acutally end up blocking out more light. ;)
For the stuff in my room, I'm not really that paranoid, I leave my blinds open as I always do, all my toys are out of direct light.
The only toys I keep boxed (fully boxed and in the cupboard), because I don't want them to go yellow are my G1 metroplex and jetfire. Those are perfect white and I intend to keep them that way. :)

I used to be like that from 1984 till about 1999... after years of displaying toys in indirect sunlight, they do fade and yellow!
I wouldn't obstruct the window personally because I like to have sunlight in my TF room when I'm in there, and also open the window for fresh air (which also helps to reduce dust). With blinds you can also adjust them in terms of how much light you want to allow in too.
