The first of this year's SDCC exclusive Transformers has been revealed on the IGN website, and can be seen here (http://news.tfw2005.com/2017/06/06/sdcc-2017-transformers-last-knight-optimus-prime-exclusive-340841).

It is the TF5 Voyager Optimus toy, with shiny new paint, fancy box and an exclusive piece of tyre used in the Transformers movies. (talk about creative recycling... I guess there would have been a few tyres used up over the months of filming, between the 3 or 4 Optimus Trucks they would have used)

This is like the truck panel parts that were packed with the TF4 collector cards from Topps.

But not ideal to stack MISB.

Ah, so it is... fixed.

I saw the price as US$50 and thought Leader class, because that's the price of Leader class toys in American retail... while the Voyager class is only US$30 at retail - their SDCC toys aren't usually that much of an increase on regular retail.

Taking a closer look at the toy, I see it is another official image from Hasbro of a mis-transformed toy (the chest panels aren't in place, and the "trailer connector" panels are missing from the insides of the legs).

...if only the retail figure was done like this I would of skipped takara's new leader class.

So how do we get one, wait or ebay sales?
