aathe Galvatrons - melb Band

Hey..

A melbourne band called the galatrons is playing my town (warrnambool) tomorrow night. Im going to suss them out. There all kids, looking at there pics, and the lead dude said there influence is from the transformers movie (vhs sound track) And bloody hell, you can hear it in there tunes....

They're not really my kind of music, but yeah very much influenced by the 1986 movie..

They became famous pretty quick, early last year they had just got together, my cousin saw them play in the city and they only knew 4-5 songs... By the end of the year they had got a record deal and recorded an album, and got a spot on the BDO line up where I saw them play..

Pretty quick rise compared to a lot of other bands, but well done to them..

Also, my friend works at the recording studio they recorded at so he knows them all pretty well...
