As for Preorder:

Who will need preorder:
I never preordered anything for my own collection before. However, as a seller, I won't get to secure spots and good price if I don't follow the preorder practice. That saying, even no one preorders from me, I will still preorder myself to secure the stock. However, my stock will be limited by the capital I can commit for the item. Then you may or may not be in the queue to buy it later on. Therefore, if you do care secure certain toys upon their release, you are welcome to preorder from me.

How to preorder:
As I source my stocks from China, I think I just follow the practice there. The preorder fee will be $10 per item, limited refundable.

For an example, if you would like to preorder "FT not-Omege Supreme", please send me email to transformers@diamondvalley.cn with the following info:
"otca member name, First Name, Surname, postal address and mobile number and name of the toy you want to preorder and number."

Once I can confirm the availability/spot, I will confirm with you in reply email then you can pay me the preorder fee.

Once the toy is released, you will be contacted again for paying the rest. I will definitely try only ask settlement payment when I see those stock successfully arriving in Melbourne.

With the $10 preorder fee, what you can get and what you cannot:
If the toy IS released, you will have one. However, at the time you pay your preorder fee, you usually 1) will not be told the final price of the toy (as so many factors uncertain to affect the final AUD price, however, due to my USD free transaction and 4Px shipping, I reasonably believe my final price should be rather competitive); 2) will be told the release date, but do expect it will be delayed by 3rd makers.

About refund:
The preorder fee, once paid, will not be refund before release date and cannot transfer from one toy to another. However, once the release date is reached while the toy is still not available for any reasons (by me or my makers themselves), you can request your refund of your preorder fee. And you will not be obligated to re-purchase even the toy finally arrives.

About the final price:
To be exact, I am only able to know how much exactly I can charge you when the toys are being shipped and already departing the China airport. Any pricing before that point requires some guessing, which either over-charge or under-charge you later on.

As for after-sale:

I can provide after-sale as much as what I can receive from 3rd toy companies. If in future I might even be able to ask them to ship some parts in advance with the toy to Australia so we don't have to wait for replacement shipping.

For now, if you receive a toy with missing hands, wings, wheels etc, please let me know. I will contact the 3rd makers to resend those parts.

The cost of the parts is free, China domestic shipping is free too. The best way to receive the parts is to let it be sent with my next round shipping together to reduce the long distance cost.

That's all I have to say, thank you for reading. I am waiting for FT not Omega Supreme's preorder availability will update soon.

Once I can confirm your preorder, $20 ($10 for each release) preorder will be requested. Preorder fee can be refunded when passing these dates.

As for the final price, I cannot provide the exact amount right now.

Yep as others have said I cant even put a deposit on anything without final prices, I understand that as an individual that might be hard but it's just how it is :/
Price matching while good isn't I think necessary, so long as you're trustworthy/have a good reputation and will deliver I'd be fine paying a little more then certain other dealers who shall not be named (within reason of course).
Oh and because of being burnt badly it will probably be a while before I and some others will preorder anything from anyone, but having a preorder fee rather then having to pay it all up front will help build that trust so thumbs up for that :)

As for the final price, I understand this is different from other preorders. Based on the distribution channel I am relying on, I really don't know exactly how my price is going to be. Actually all preorder customers in China do know what they end up paying in the end. The 3rd companies (maybe only half of them) will give out a so-called RRP such as "300+ RMB" or "600+ RMB", but no exact amount. Preorder customers usually get preorder price, lower than later RRP. I can get import price which is lower than preorder price. But in future, if I don't put preorder in, I will have to either preorder enough quantity myself or pay preorder price instead of import price.

I guess maybe I need to work out an estimate formula to at least put an indicated price?

12a - Pricing items on Sale Posts
All regular Saleyard sales need to have a Price noted for each item (or Lot/group of items).
If you aren't sure of an item's value and don't want to feel cheated later, do some research on ebay first or ask in the Price-Check topic. It can be better to list at a high-end price and then discount it, or publicly mention that you will accept 'near-enough' offers (which the BUYER needs to publicly post).
Just be aware that unless you are just wanting to get rid of your toys in a hurry for cheap, selling as a Group Lot or Set might seem easier for you, but are less likely to sell, or even at a respectable price.
If you prefer an Auction format, you can do that here as well (see the recommended format below), but it is best to use a dedicated site like Ebay, and then just promote it in the ebay/dealer section.
Vague things like EOIs (expressions of interest) are not permitted in the Saleyard for single items - EOIs are only permitted in the Group Orders section to gauge the interest in a bulk order, and should only be done by someone prepared to go through with it.

If in doubt ask griffin what you can or can't do.

Omega Supreme has come down in price dramatically recently and what if comes down again?

Also thanks for the fantastic service with sending out not Jetfire. Great communication and prompt service.

FT and DX9 is definitely on rival for not Omega Supreme now, which is good for us.

Technically I will only know the wholesale price I receive when the toy is released. My upfront cost is only the preorder fees. I simply pass your preorder fees to my supplier on the trust that my supplier will give me a fare final price. If FT and DX9 decided to fight price war further, my price will be adjusted on that.

XinEstimate would be better then no price yes, just so long as you can figure out a formula where your estimate ends up within no more then say $10-20 of the final price I think most would be happy enough with that.

Either that or you just set a price and if the item is cheaper good for eveyone but if it's more you would probably in fairness end up paying the difference out of pocket, which is unfortunately the price one has to pay if they are selling an item that doesnt have a final price (and why this type of business can be tricky to balance).

Also if you use http://www.transdirect.com.au/ you can get quotes forr multiple couriers at once.
And lastly for parcel dimensions when in doubt look at the dimensions of similar sized items, if you compile a list of approximate sizes and weights you should be able to also figure out a postage price list to add to your first post so that people have a rough idea what each thing will cost to send

You can get a pair of autobot logos that are designed to fit with the trailer for extra $10 (a pair).

I tried to ask supplier to provide them for free, obviously failed. However, they are good quality, big and heavy (made of porcelain, not paper sticker!)

Hi

FT (not) Omega Supreme is scheduled to release Box-A at the end of July or beginning of August. Box-B is scheduled to one month later. My preorder will close by the end of this week.

Even after price reduced by FT, it's price is still higher than DX9's figure. I have asked my distributor who has been a TF distributor/retailer for more than 10 years. He said he believe buyers will get what they pay, the higher price will show its better in some aspects (I only pass on his opinion).

I don't have a solid method to estimate the price atm, as its weight and size of the box are still unknown to me. I will aim at $389~$400 for Melbourne price.

For those who have preordered from me, I can guarantee I will refund the deposit if my price turned up too ridiculous.

For people still want to preorder, please let me know this week.

Other FT toys probably wont be released before August.

I will ask about zetatoys stuff. They used to be the subcontractor team for TW now have departed. It seems they decided to ship international dealers first. Since my channel is from China inland, I dont have them preorder up atm. All major sellers in China did not put them on preorder list, several small shops did. Why is this, I was waiting for answers.

Overseas buyers/dealers pay full amount for preorder, Chinese buyers just pay 10% deposit. So I understand why they want ship overseas first, given that they just started up.

The release date in China will be Sep/Oct 2017, I guess I can put up preorder in maybe two weeks if my questions are all answered. But the final price is not given yet even for those already had preorder, this is just typical there. Seems no one care about the final price.

DX9 glider, the preorder is ok. I was busy on my own online store, will put that under my new store soon.

I have imported some transformers faction stickers, like this:

It is A4 size, including many different types. The white area on the paper are white symbols can be used on dark/black toys. It also have transparent background and white background ones.

And this is dual layer stickers. Upper layer is what you use scissors to cut on and handle around. Lower layer is the actual symbol sticker what will reside on toys. Lower layer is already in perfect shape done by the factory.

I got KO MT streetwise from "Yes Model". This is the enlarged version. According to a Chinese review video, the material is almost identical to MT, weighs heavier than MP bluestripe. The only complain is the reviewer expects they change the ball-joint to something better but they didn't. ball-joint is retained on larger model.

as for someone asked me about FT07 Stomp, I have checked my suppliers. My supplier ran out, but he managed to find a carton of it (totally 6 pieces, original colour only not metallic).

My import price will be $6 higher for each, due to his trouble for sourcing, which makes the arrive-in-melbourne price (combined with my guess) at $199 cap.

I cannot say what actually toys delayed as I don't want my post to be copied and pasted to other places since I only got this info privately.

Certain item with release date "Q3 2017" on in my store cannot be release on time, as Q3 2017 is just one week to go.

For those people if:
1. You preordered and paid deposit on any item, and:
2. when the time goes pass the "release date" on my store;

then you are free to decide to let the preorder stay as it is or ask me for deposit refund.

No one should take the "preorder release date" of any items from any companies as a serious promise on delivery.

As my store platform has no reminder function to inform me which item has passed the release date, so I might not be able to inform on each item to all preorders on time. Please do check for yourself and request deposit refund when needed.

Hi all

I have to inform you guys that, for the following two weeks from 1st Oct 2017, my wife, Savier will be expecting to give birth to our second baby. We don't know exactly when it starts though.

So if you order something and doesn't see shipping update on the next business day, it might mean it happens and I don't have time to respond on this forum or email or facebook. I will check my mobile apps from time to time, you can ask for refund, if you don't, your item will be shipped immediately we get all things sorted out. It should be within a week maximum after the....say contraction or water break.

As for postage, you may actually pay (slightly/much/no) less than what the Auspost quote to you. Reason being that, sometimes the post office staff will just try being nice/lazy by not bring up his/her ruler to quote on cubic. If that happens, I will refund the postage change.

Price increased, due to I under-estimated the shipping cost (a lot), old price is not feasible for me, sorry.

have you tried other couries?Courier Please have very good rates, I was able to get a coffee machine from ACT shipped to Perth for under $20.

The two boxes together with packaging exceed 8kg. I just got shipped to 2680 from 3089 at $27.90, instead of quoted from Auspost $39.10. The trick is my local auspost lady do not bring up the ruler to charge me cubic most of the time. This is the cheaper than Courier Please. If the post lady wanted to charge me cubic, then it is not significantly more. Plus with Auspost, if customer made order at 9:00am, I can ship them out (sometimes) at 10~11:00am, no courier pickup is faster than myself.

I checked Sendle before, you could have wait for days before they actually come over and pick up, and they have 11% unhappy reviews in productreview.com.au.

So for now, I am stick to Auspost, but I keep looking. :)

Ok, if you don't know what 9c means, I gotta tell you I actually don't understand much either. lol

Iron Factory's boxes are very soft, so it's hard to survive long distance shipping. I imported 4, all of them have some degree of wear. So none of them is collector grade box condition. But no box is damaged or broken so toys are all good. Maybe send me an email to support@tftoys.com.au so I can reply with some of the box photos.

SXS Hot flame is on the way, shipping charges paid, and waiting to leave China. I will get them in Nov though, and one more week on top of it if Aus Custom wanted to inspect. No one preorder from me so I just ordered two. If they are sold fast, I can import more.

That�s a shame. What does 9c condition mean?Basically just collectors grading. A 9 would be "suitable for grading", an 8 would be "box ok to display", a 7 would be basically what you'd get off the shelf at kmart/target/etc.

Just let you guys know that I am in the middle of painful server migration.

"Not secure" warning is I haven't imported my corporate SSL license to the new site yet. And the reason I haven't imported is that I need to activate my static IP address first. My ISP told me it's going to take at least 4 hours.

so you might have to wait for maybe one day to safely purchase anything again.

remember we talked about zip-pay option on store? I have contacted zip-pay but they require a business at least run for 6 months, which is Jan 2018 for me.

So I registered lay-buy.com, they will provide integration to my site. However, I would like to hear your opinion on lay-buy, have you heard of them? here is what they replied to me:

1. As for "The customer pays a small 0.9% Lay-Buy fee", does that mean, say, if I list an item for sale on my store as $100, when the buyer click lay-buy, their payment total will be adjusted to $100.9? I don't have to adjust my price from my end, is it?

Customer will pay across $100 to merchant directly, and $0.90 to Lay-buys.

If buyer cannot pay and wants to cancel the order, our merchants charge the buyer a cancellation fee, which is in their term where buyer loses their down-payment and any other payments are refunded back in PayPal.

4. from other shopping site (shopify), I saw this logo (in attachment), are you the provider of that service too?
A: Yes, we are a SHOPIFY partner and an approved gateway.
We prefer our merchants run on SHOPIFY to any other platform.

MT G1 Howling Meteor is in transport now.

Peru Kill will be shipped to my supplier on 28th nov, it may take 3 days to arrive then start shipping to me will take 10~18 days depending on air flight, custome random inspection and luck etc.

There is still available to get atm, I will put this on my list. But I probably have to wait after FT apache and UT peru kill settled.

EDIT: HI Thurmus, do you want both Boost and Hatch or you just want Boost? If you want both, there is an option I can let XTB post to you directly if you don't want to wait. However, if you only need Boost, then I will further update you once I can import them, then you can decide if you buy from me once they arrive.
