So Enemy(FRumble), Wingthing(Ratbat) for straight repaints and some possible remolds for Stripes(Ravage with Steeljaw weapons) and Nightstalker(Steeljaw with Ravage weapons). Hopefully this means we see MP Blaster sooner rather than later.

People are forgetting that that isn't Steeljaw, it's Nightstalker.

Remember that while the bodies of Stripes and Nightstalker were recolours of Ravage and Steeljaw respectively, Nightstalker was given Ravage's weapons whilst Stripes was given Steeljaw's.

It's not great, but it's not that far off it either.

To give you an idea of how they looked as G1 toys (mindful that Stripes has also had a TR release), here's pics of them.

Indeed - I suspect the reason Nightstalker looks off is because he's a pretooling of Steeljaw and that because of that, the placement of Steeljaw's weapons affected the placement of Nightstalker's - completely throwing the placement of them off. You can see the same thing with Stripes' silhouette.

Very likely 2 redecos (ratbat and frumble), 1 retool (ravage with different inbuilt weapons) and 1 new mold (steeljaw mold but with different weapons to make it nightstalker, some a calling it a pretool to the actual steeljaw mold)

Yeh I'll wait to see what RK lists this for before deciding. It's a lot to pay for 4 cassettes but it is a lot less still than than the exclusive seekers.

Well the TTMall price is (converted) more than $100.... so you ain't going to find them cheaper until they get KOd.

$25/cassette is pretty much on-par with the other Takara MP cassettes to date, I believe.

I dunno about these. I bought the Encore toys for these four cassettes but then never opened them. I think if I could just get Enemy and Wingthing then maybe. But even then only Enemy really speaks to me as a lost piece of G1.

(Also, I hope they fix up the mold for Steeljaw!)

Yes it is because from Tenso you get a variety of shipping methods while AE you have to pay for the EMS post which for Australia you cant take a cheaper option from AE site.

So after you pay Tenso their fee you can still ship by cheaper methods hence saving a lot more than AE.

What drifand said is correct. The total shipping weight should be around 260g as per the existing cassettes. Using Air Registered Small Package gives a total fee of only ¥1,410. AE will not be cheaper than that.

We all know that even their listings have QC issues :p especially on box size info (i just noticed they have corrected Sunstreaker's listing regarding box size which they listed before to be same with Inferno/Grapple and now corrected it is same with MP Cars.) it doesn't make sense they would put that note that gift wrapping is not possible due to the size of the box :confused: normally this applies to about the size as big as the UW boxes.

AE does not have ANY shipping options apart from EMS or expedite shipping methods to Australia.

There is NO Airmail Registered SAL if certain size limits exceeds. This isn't available for Australia but other countries they get this option. Therefore AE will used only the NEXT trackable method which is EMS.

I wouldn't say easily. I cancelled a product once. They don't take kindly to cancellations.

Box should be bigger but depending on Takara they may use an MP car size box to a Ironhide/Ratchet size or a custom one just like they did the previous cassettes. I know TTmall has a clause of no cancellations but i haven't tried em yet so can't really tell by experience, they may be a little bit lenient with their usual customers

It took a while, but this new Masterpiece cassette set is finally out (http://news.tfw2005.com/2017/12/22/takara-tomy-masterpiece-mp-15-16-e-cassettebot-vs-cassettetron-set-hand-images-355773).

This set homages the four recolour cassettes that were released with the Encore Twincast and Soundblaster 5 years ago, and as such, we have a new Masterpiece cassette mould with Nightstalker, who was originally a black redeco of Steeljaw, so this is the first release of the "Steeljaw" mould... and hopefully it means more to come with a proper release of Steeljaw.
