My thoughts:
- I would have been happier if these were regular single-carded releases, but it's still better than having to fork out for a big expensive box-set containing a leader, a voyager and a deluxe that I may not want.
- I hope this isn't a store/con exclusive and it's easy enough to obtain.

I hope the clones get re-packed and sold as regular releases one day. The first Transformers I got as a child were the Decepticon clones. Right now, it looks like the only way I can get them is via box-sets. :(

Since we now know moulds exist for all the Twins hopefully we get a Legends release of them so I don't have to buy two box sets plus this two pack.

Not a fan of wingspan - it would have worked better had the legs formed the side of the bird torso rather than the wings and the wings had been 2 separate pieces, as per the G1 version.

Since it hasnt been mentioned, there seems that there are two 2 packs coming out.
One has Cloudraker and Wingspan and is a Walgreens exclusive (source) (https://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/titans-return-clone-twopack-image-revealed-as-walgreens-exclusive/38811/)
The other has Pounce and Fastlane (from the Chaos/Siege box sets) and is an Amazon exclusive (source) (https://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/titans-return-fastlane-and-pounce-to-be-released-as-amazon-twopack/38812/)

For transparency the second article does say that the product code RK was using for the "Amazon pack" is the same as the code for the "Walgreens pack" so it isnt conclusive evidence that Pounce/Fastlane are being released separately, but it would make sense that they are being

Yep, the Seibertron news article has been edited to note that it may just be an error on the part of Robotkingdom as the product numbers are the same (and that is very unlikely, as the need to be unique for different products)... but to be honest, I don't see why there wouldn't be a second 2-pack eventually (and you just know that TakaraTomy will release all four as well), for those people not wanting to shell out for the box sets just for the two new moulds.

Seeing the photos of Cloudraker, it now makes sense why Fastlane's groin splits apart, as the core and legs are shared parts, and Fastlane doesn't have the groin separate when transforming to car mode... Cloudraker does, to form the wings in jet mode.
And having a second look at Pounce and Wingspan, they have the same parts, with the separating legs/groin being redundant in Pounce.

It's a bit confusing as I wanted to preorder that RK 2 pack but the descriptions too vague and has pics of both sets so I don't know which 2 pack it's for. I only wanted the Wingspan/Cloudraker set. Sold out now anyway so hope everyone gets the set they actually wanted.

Man! There was a time when I said to myself 'I'd give anything to have updated versions of Pounce & Wingspan'... but now I feel like giving up on them and just be content with what's available to me. I could probably get these off eBay in the future, but they'll likely be sold at hyper-inflated scalper prices, and it's just not worth it. I was gonna get a TR Brainstorm off eBay, but AUD70 (cheapest I can find) is not a price for a deluxe figure.

I hope Hasbro someday realises that US store exclusives won't help them earn extra coin, but instead give scalpers in the US an opportunity to rip-off other collectors who want these figures but have no access.

This is the reason why I get annoyed. When they make it exclusives in America, we get shafted. And the exclusives they give us, no one wants (the overpriced Prime and Megatron reprint 2 pack Myer tried to flog) In recent years, we get the short end of the stick

When Walgreens put them up on their website I'll probably just work out how much it will be to forward a few to Aus, the TR Brainstorm ended up being cheaper this way then most online stores were selling him for so I expect it will be the same with this one.

Granted I still think $40 each is too much for a deluxe but it's better then $70+

As for Hasbro, I honestly think they dont care so long as they make money. It's not so much that exclusives make Hasbro more money but that contracts with US stores that want exclusives end up making them more money. Aus stores just dont care enough to make those sorts of deals, though they are happy enough to get given as regular stock any exclusives that are spare and charge us 2-3 times more then they're worth (for example see the TRU exclusive TLK figures)
