We've already seen one set labelled as "Transformers Tribute" (Optimus & Orion Pax (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=24395)), and now a second figure has surfaced with that banner on the packaging - 2007 Movie Optimus (http://news.tfw2005.com/2017/07/03/package-picture-transformers-tribute-leader-class-optimus-prime-343213), with a 10th anniversary sticker as well.
(out of packaging image was leaked here (http://news.tfw2005.com/2017/06/28/possible-movie-2007-leader-optimus-prime-redeco-bumblebee-three-pack-342786) and the robot mode here (http://news.tfw2005.com/2017/06/29/possible-movie-leader-optimus-prime-2007-redeco-new-images-342844))

Either this is an Optimus Tribute toyline, or it is going to be an all-generations line, similar to the 2009 Universe "25th Anniversary" toyline that tried to commemorate all different previous toylines... but was stifled by the Movie toyline out at the time, limiting Retailer interest and budgets to the main Transformers toylines at that time (Movie and Animated).

If this is a more expansive line across the generations, expect it to be revealed at SDCC in a little over two weeks time (starts Thursday July 20th and ends Sunday July 23rd).

Although I'm not interested in getting this reprint, as I have and prefer the vanilla '07 leader, I'm really intrigued about where this tribute line leads to.

Considering that this year marks the 10 anniversary of the first film, I'm hoping that we might get more rereleases of some characters in the film in their '07 moulds, such as Blackout, Starscream etc, with new paint applications. As someone who missed out on a majority of those releases, I'll be willing to give Hasbro my spare money if this is the case.

Nevertheless, this repaint of one of my favourite Transformers figures of all time (I actually like this more than the ROTF mould) is pretty good. However, I would prefer if Hasbro used the premium series head sculpt and the energon blade instead.

ToysRus has it on shelves here in Oz for $79—their stores seem pretty safe.

Nah, not that Optimus 2-pack set... the 2-pack with WFC Optimus and TR Orion Pax.

I think by safely he was referring to the store that shall not be named (this is why we can't have nice things, every thread derails into a jab at that store).

I am sure it will soon be available from RK, BBTS, TFsource and other stores. It might be they're holding off on preorders until an offficial announcement for the toy line (eg SDCC). These were leaked images

Speaking of ... RK has this up for pre-order now (http://www.robotkingdom.com/just-listed-items/week-27-3rd-july-2017/c2027h060.html) US$ 35.90 ... and need to factor in shipping still

Thank you for the correction...I would love if it was in tru but sadly not

Who's handling this in the states anyway?

The Tribute 2007 Leader Optimus toy has been listed on Robotkingdom (http://news.tfw2005.com/2017/07/07/tribute-optimus-prime-07-leader-class-release-details-343415), for a hefty price of US$90 (the 2007 version was US$50), with a release date of July 13th, which is only a week away.
The Tribute 2-pack Optimus set has just been released in Taiwan, so these are coming out fast, considering the Movie toyline is still the primary focus of Hasbro to the retailers.

A third product in this new Tribute line has now been confirmed, from an Amazon UK listing.
It is a Bumblebee 3-pack (http://news.tfw2005.com/2017/07/10/transformers-tribute-bumblebee-evolution-3-pack-official-details-revealed-343601), probably similar to the Evolution 2-pack we had released way back in 2007, or that other 3-pack Bumblebee set with WFC, Animated and Movie Deluxe Bumblebees.

Celebrate the heroic Auto bot scout with the Bumblebee Evolution 3-Pack
3 Deluxe scale Bumblebee figures with movie-inspired detail
1977 Chevrolet Camaro from Movie 1 converts in 12 steps
1967 Chevrolet Camaro from Movie 4 converts in 18 steps
2016 Chevrolet Camaro from Movie 5 converts in 17 steps

The Movie 5 toy is likely to be the wave 3 Deluxe Bumblebee, because the wave 1 toy (the redeco of the Movie 4 toy) is only 15 steps.

Y'know, I'm kinda almost leaning towards definitely wanting this set.
The '77 was the first, so that's an awww moment, the '67 just looks phat & the 2016, though probably my least favorite of the set is still a nice looking car. Question is, will this also get the TTM make-over?

A teaser photo leaked from someone in Taiwan (http://news.tfw2005.com/2017/07/13/transformers-tribute-bumblebee-evolution-3-pack-vehicle-modes-343858), has the wave 3 Deluxe Bumblebee with the TF1 and TF4 Bumblebee toys... but this is not from an official source, nor can it be confirmed that this is a photo of the actual 3-pack of Bumblebees (it could be someone with the individual Bumblebee toys doing a group photo - I don't have mine handy to see if the colours are different to the original versions).

So I got my optimus 2pack, it mentions the usual "distributed in Australia" print on the bottom.

...are we ever gonna get this thing locally or is this just generic print at this point?

Yes, got mine from RK, first time with both molds, the orion pax/tr kup mold's legs were a surprises buuuut like most hasbro offerings the legs are weak and barely support poses, anything up high and you'll need some polish for his ball joints.

WFC prime on the other hand is a little tighter but oh boy BIG difference in transformation difficulty, forgot what transformers from this time were like, overall not a bad 2 pack and both were my first time with either mold

The Optimus 2-pack is being released in Japan as an Amazon exclusive (http://news.tfw2005.com/2017/07/21/tribute-optimus-prime-orion-pax-two-pack-amazon-exclusive-japan-345216), listed at about the same time as it was added to Amazon America's website... to be released in Japan on August 31st, and in America July 28th.

It's a generic block of text on packaging, just in case a product is released in Australia or excess stock is offloaded here, they don't then need to open up all the cartons and label up the toy boxes with contact details.

So is that newest looking Bumblebee the new TLK wave 3 deluxe? Or is it the old one that's been on sale here locally for months?

The Bumblebee 3-pack is being noted as an Amazon exclusive like the other two Tribute toys, and is now in stock there for US$60 (http://a.co/4xlz3oE). (the other two Tribute packs - Leader Optimus (http://a.co/4Nsxgjl) for US$80 and 2-pack Optimus (http://a.co/gTboWnS) at a great price of US$30 - are also still available)

It is supposed to be the wave 3 Bumblebee toy... which we aren't likely to see here.
