I got a STRONG sense that this is a fake.

Why the additional decals next to the axe (they kinda remind me of the ones from gundam 7-11 collab model kits but it's not a kit I have nor can I read the japanese to work out what it is), why is the axe in solid metallic green even the black convoy redeco kept it as clear (I'm suspecting its painted over) and finally the lower legs.

Is that...blue sticking out?

Seems silly to paint an mp10 in white when a ko redeco of mp10 into ultra magnus exist but I'm doubtful until proven otherwise, and believe me I would like to be wrong

That was only here I believe and not in Japan, and 7-11 over there does collabs...just never knew they did more than gundam before.

The deco on the magnus is a big lacking though, I get its meant to be more magnus than a straight up 7-11 deco job but could green bands across the arms would of been nice

That would make this quite the exclusive indeed!

This is a rather pathetic looking redeco.
Having seen so many KOs in this color scheme just makes me disinterested in this exclusive.
No doubt we'll see this popping up at half the price but double the size as a weijiang KO.

I really want a G2 version of this mould with the black trailer. The voice box would be pretty cool as well.

New images on TFW show that the 7-Eleven logo on Magnus' shoulder is optional and it also comes with an Autobot sticker.

I've put in a pre-order with AE but haven't paid yet. I've never ordered from them and the feedback seems mixed. Feels a little iffy making this my first order with them given the price. Thinking RK might be the better option even if it ends up being a little more expensive, they pack orders really well and have excellent customer service.

Pepsi has been done twice for the G1 mold IIRC. As a mail away a few decades ago & Pepsi Prime/Convoy with a bottle carrier for the trailer more recently.

Just an FYI, if anyone was thinking of buying through Tenso or the like, 7-11net does not accept foreign credit cards or paypal. From what I can see, there is no possible way for a foreigner to pay for the order.

May not be so easy, with gundam exclusive model kits it was only certain stores in very limited numbers, would they carry something so elusive on their shelves to begin with no idea.

But if you happen to be there feel free to have a gander and report, I'm kinda curious if they would do such a thing :D

This may be very limited at least 1 per store cause look at the price tag 27000 yen unlike Gundam 1/144 kits a 1000 yen (not sure about the PGs never seen those at 7-11)

Seems to have good reviews online, it's my first time with them. Only thing I was a little concerned about was they are requiring full payment upfront while I don't believe 7net will actually charge the card until it's in stock. It's a calculated risk.

Yup Paypal only side with you for 6 months . There are chances it be available in auctions closer to date at the same price as its still available as we see it.

I am glad I am not crazy over it.

As I PM'd I intended to keep the double. Anyway as it turns out zenmarket reckons it is sold out so they were not able to complete the order. :(

Very strange though because if I add it to my cart in 7net and choose cash on delivery I can get to the very last step before completing the order. I've asked them to clarify but it doesn't look like the proxy thing is going to happen.

I first enquired with them on Monday so it just takes way too long to make an order through them for limited release stuff like this.

Well the original retailer was PC and we all know that was never coming...

I then ordered from an eBay seller smile2japan5 who had good feedback and enough feedback that I didn't think it was a scam. I think the seller just wasn't able to get as much stock as they wanted and I was one of the unlucky ones who missed out.

I just found another eBay seller who has it in stock. Just cost me more than I wanted to pay is all. Grrrrrr....

NY posted it up for sale again today and I jumped on it. So in the end I got my double. My order from AE should get here any day. Can't wait to have a white Magnus since I used him as my leader of the Autobots when I was a kid.

it had a layer of shrink wrap on it, and was also wrapped in a layer of bubble wrap before being placed inside a box with a bit of newspaper as well.

Unfortunately the back of the box has a concave shape to it, like something heavy has been sitting on the backside of the box. No creases, just a depression of the whole back panel.

The most noticeable side is the left side:

Theres no creasing of the box, so its probably fixable if I were to get inside the box, but I feel like this is one to stay misb so it will stay like that

I wonder if the strength (grade) of the box, or the lack of, is the reason for the concave shape. Cheaper toys in Kmart have a more sturdy packaging. First world problems I know.

I'm no materials engineer but would suction cups work. If that fails, there's always the upcoming PotP Cindersaur as a possible remedy. Those lips! :p

On that note NY keeps sourcing these one by one (I have been getting the notifications when it comes back in stock). They are starting to move the price up though, the one today was listed for 35,000� and is already sold.

NY price jacking continues, new one listed at 38,000�. I personally don't have a huge problem with it, it's just supply and demand. Glad I got in quick.

Can't recall but I pre-ordered from AE and it was 32,000� so NY was probably similar.

Speaking of which my AE one arrived today. Sadly although it was packed pretty well it also has the concave front and back though the back is far worse ( and also has a weird crease all the way down). Perhaps this is a thing with these? Oh and it is double taped.

Anyway all of the more reason to open it for display but I'm hoping my NY order arrives in better shape.

The problem I had with ny was I made payment and they cancelled my order, and relist the same item at higher price. Now thats a problem.

I gotten one through agent and is works out to be 29000jpy

So my other one from NY arrived. The back of the box is again concave but not as bad as my other one (seems to be very common with this release).

The good news is the front is not concave (just has a little dent on one corner) and it is only single taped so I'll keep this one MISB and open the other one. When I open that one I may even be able to get the box flattened out.
