Well I got the exact same response email from both Hatchett and Eaglemoss, 4 minutes apart and from the same person, even though the email addresses the reponses originated from differed, so obviously they must have a single person handling both inquiry accounts:
I'm sure we'll hear more soon.

Anyone got the contact details for whoever is currently not handling the comics in OZ?
I emailed hachette overseas after finding out from a mate that the local company/distributor had buggered off (and thanks for not telling anyone, pretty hard to send a group email I guess....) Their email was basically "we are handling it" which gave me as much faith as Kingsley handling anything in that scene in Iron Man 3 while downing another beer.
Who should I contact to update my details for the sub, assuming that this mess eventually gets sorted?
Asked over on social media, but person just didn't respond. Should have asked here first really.
Thanks guys in advance! :)
I hope something gets sorted soon, rather get the rest of the comics than have to go the bloody bank and put a stop on any charges and replace my card. Again.

Yeah, you would have something like Tansfor/No.
As your reference ID. it should have been on each invoice.
I threw out all my invoices as I got them, I only know mine from an email I sent bissettMagazines about a broken mug.

I think someone posted on facebook that they were contacted about having this shipments starting again soon... followed by several people saying that they haven't heard anything, nor were able to get any answers from anyone (UK or here).
I'll send out some more emails this week, and maybe see if Hasbro Australia can use their influence to get some answers, or get things moving again.

I don't subscribe to the UK definitive collection but I do have the Marvel Fact Files distributed to me via Bissett. I recently sent them an email to find out when I would be receiving my next shipment and received the following email response:
Hi Stud Muffin,
Thanks for your email.
Bissett have stopped trading recently and we are due to take over their subscriptions from them but don't have an eta as to when at this time although it should be sometime soon.
We will be in touch with any information and keep an eye out for updates.
Kind regards

Just got this email.... haven’t sent any queries myself....
**** Change of Payment Processor for Direct Debits to CCA International **** PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL ****
Dear Mr Krayt
From 03/09/2018, Bissett Magazines are changing our payment processor for Direct Debit payments. Our new processor, GoCardless, will be taking over responsibility and power for all Direct Debit collections from this date and you will shortly be receiving an updated Service Agreement to confirm the change.
There’s no action required from you to continue paying by Direct Debit, and the change will not affect the service you receive in any way. The only change you will notice is that ‘CCAInternational’ will appear on your bank statement
GoCardless are taking over responsibility for future Direct Debit payments only, they will not be responsible for any chargebacks or refunds relating to previous payments between CCA International and yourself.
If you do not want your Direct Debit payments transferred over to GoCardless then you can cancel the service by contacting us on customer_service_aus@hachette-service.com by contacting your bank or via your online banking.
If you have any questions, you can contact us on customer_service_aus@hachette-service.com

I picked up mine from the post office today. Both issues were there (26 & 27), so it is nice to have this start up again.
I don't think we will have a catchup to where we should be up to on the release schedule, because we were already about 9 months behind the UK release, so an extra month won't make much difference.
And I finally got a reply from one of my emails yesterday too... asking me for my subscription details so that they can make sure I am on the new mailout... which was not what I was asking. I was asking for an update on if and when the comics would start coming out again (this was before people started getting them this week), so that I could post about it on our news sites.

The idea is you get your issues sent with an invoice, but if you don’t want one of them you can send it back and not get charged.
But once you sign up, who ever says know to an issue?
As for this making them go out of business, the same mob have done it ok for over 20 years, so something recent must have changed to bring it to a end.

the newsagent at Macquarie shopping centre is getting them in, they also get most of the other products like this, star trek starships, the marvel and Dc figurines, the do who figurines, Delorian model car. they will also back order stuff for you, though that can take a very long time to come in.

I had the same happen this week. :(
$20.60 per issue is still a great price, but the extra fee that goes into the fat pockets of a bank instead of the publisher, spoils it a bit.
I hope it is just a temporary thing, until the new distributor is properly set up and takes the payments for what they will be doing.

So valkyrie, if you got issue 30 & 31 then you should have Vol. 75 (Titans Return, Part 1) & Vol. 60 (Dark Cybertron, Part 2).
Sorry if it sounds like I'm hounding you, it's just because of the disrupted release schedule I guess I've become a little paranoid in that respect.

Well that's weird. I wonder why you are getting sent yours a month before others, as I also got 28 & 29 in the mail at the same time that you got 30 & 31. You never missed any?
Were you one of the ones who subscribed early, receiving your first volumes a month before people like me? Maybe the new distributor is going off that list, even though those of us who subscribed in the second month caught up after the freebies were given out.

When Eaglemoss took over they didnt end up with my existing 25 issue subscription in their system. So after 2 months back and forth with their useless customer support I just contacted Hachette direct 3 weeks ago and started a new subscription from where I got up to through Hachette. Received issues 26 and 27 today. The Hachette guys are great

Only 20 in all of Australia? That can't be right... unless that's all that is left after the transition.
Even still, that sounds way too small. If it is true, or even anything under 100 people, it makes me worried now that they will abandon the subscriptions here. I mean, what will be their cut-off amount before it isn't worth it for them.

If people were only charged $40 on their cards for this delivery (I haven't had a look at mine), then it was just a just a misprint, and not what they were going to be charging.
We're almost at halfway... which makes it seem like a long way off to the finish, but it's been 16 deliveries so far, or about 1 and a quarter years since it started here.

This shipment was Volume 71, and finally Volume 2 containing US 5-10 and some great UK material. Most of the books I have left aside (sometimes sneak peaking) as I really wanted to do this in chronological order (at least for the Marvel material). It brings back such warm memories, reading these old stories again. Amazing what you forget after twenty five years though.
I really hope they release Volume 3, 4 and 5 soon. I have Volume 6 onwards set aside, and I'll finally be able to read them.

Think you need to chase up the 32 +33 Paul - it should have arrived by now, and you don't want to have a gap in the collection. I am sure that Hachette have spare copies (they are still advertised for sale on their website) but you want to get them moving on it. 32 or 33 (vol 2) is an AMAZING read - the remastered colouring is far superior to the original 'dot colouring' effect, and the UK material spectacularly painted. I'm itching for 34 (vol 3) now as I'm trying to read them in sequence.

Looking over the last few pages of posts, it does look like you are one shipment behind, and Valkyrie is one shipment ahead (getting them at the same time as everyone else). Which I find odd, because Bisette would fast-track late subscribers, so that everyone was getting the same volumes after the 5th or 6th shipment.
As for the possible over-charging, I had to do some research on this too. I looked up my payments on my bank statements, to see if that $80 invoice ended up being charged with only two volumes being sent... but from what I can tell, it all looks okay.
I've had five amounts of $39.98 charged to my card (at the same time as others here), and only five shipments since they restarted at the end of September.
Since it restarted with (eaglemoss?), people here have been getting shipments on approximately the following dates (my volumes are in brackets)...
SEP 24 (26 & 27) - invoice date = SEP 13
NOV 20 (28 & 29) - invoice date = (can't find it)
DEC 18 (30 & 31) - invoice date = DEC 12
JAN 17 (32 & 33) - invoice date = JAN 7
FEB 15 (34 & 35) - invoice date = (don't have it yet)
My guess is that Valkyrie got a shipment in October, while most of us were caught up in the delays caused by them chasing up our payment details, and that's why he could be one shipment ahead (and probably some others too, if they managed to get their payment details recorded in time for the October shipment window). Did you end up missing November as well, as I think you had more of a problem with sorting out payment details.
At least people didn't miss a shipment while the payment problems were being sorted out, but I don't know why they haven't caught people up with fortnightly shipments, like they did with me when I first subscribed late.
Even though the invoice dates are about a week before the shipments were received, the charging dates are all over the place, with two charges delayed, and three charged when they were shipped...
26-27 (arrived SEP 24) - $39.98 (charged OCT 23)
28-29 (arrived NOV 20) - $39.98 (charged NOV 19)
30-31 (arrived DEC 18) - $39.98 (charged JAN 1)
32-33 (arrived JAN 17) - $39.98 (charged JAN 14) (this was the one with the $80 invoice)
34-35 (arrived FEB 15) - $39.98 (charged FEB 13)
Those are the only five charges since they re-started in September, with only five shipments... and they were all $39.98 (plus the international transfer fee, so we are still being charged by the UK company).
Hope that reassures people here who feared being double charged in January, as I would imagine the same has occurred with everyone... but always check your statements with any of you debits, not just these ones.

That was noticed when Bissette folded, and the UK producer of these (Hachette) took over, including taking the payments directly, which meant an international transaction (and fee if you have a credit card that charges it).

The $1.20 sucks. But frankly the TF vs GI Joe inclusion sucks as well. Others may love it which is all good, but its really not my cup of tea going from all the previews I read of each comic when they were released. I'd rather the whole series be just pure G1 Transformers rather than including G1 crossover comics. Heck, I'd even have taken the Beast Wars comics included instead of the Joe ones, as one could argue that G1 and BW are the same continuity.
Oh well, I paid for it so I guess I might as well read it. Who knows, I may possibly even like it. That would be a nice surprise.

hey guys, how are your pages?
Out of 30 or so volumes so far about 5 have been like this.
I photograph them and request replacements.
It's where the machine has not cut / separated the pages properly. If possible I would just trim the corner myself, but the way it folds it makes the corner basically rip off no matter how you trim it, (like a perforated edge) as well as having 5-10 pages stuck together.

Had some earlier one that were worse where the whole side of the page (as in the vertical edge) was stuck / not cut for like 20+ pages all the way along, not just the corner like this one.

does anyone know the most relevant customer service to email now?
Is the one highlighted in above image in RED still valid for OZ?
I have about 5 diff email contacts for them back during that whole handover thing and don't know which one to send to now.
Who are the new lot again that it got handed over to in OZ (not Hachette, the maker) but the local aussie rep / distribution lot?>
THANKS GUYS! :D
Glad the site seems to be working again, but still with some drop outs huh?

The $1.20 sucks. But frankly the TF vs GI Joe inclusion sucks as well. Others may love it which is all good, but its really not my cup of tea going from all the previews I read of each comic when they were released. I'd rather the whole series be just pure G1 Transformers rather than including G1 crossover comics. Heck, I'd even have taken the Beast Wars comics included instead of the Joe ones, as one could argue that G1 and BW are the same continuity.

You talking about the Tom Scioli one? If you read it in jest, it's balls to the wall crazy. Plenty of weird things if you're a fan of either property but just treat it as a stand alone thing. I don't know if they'll include the interviews from the back of each issue, writer and artist ask each other questions. While it's a bit ingratiating is does it's job in making you appreciate what they tried to do in the comic and the passion they have for comics in general.
With this included I hope this means they also include the other iterations of TF VS G.I.Joe... The TF UK one, the Marvel one, the Dreamwave one and the Devils Due... two?

TFUK crossover is in Vol 9 and the Dreamwave (World War 2) crossover is in Vol 31.
The Marvel US one isn't included, nor does there appear to be any room for the multiple Devils Due series.
The other outstanding question if the later IDW books with Transformers and Joe characters (like Revolution/Revolutionaries etc) will be included... but it looks doubtful.

I heard that a fair few people were getting those uncut pages (from the UK fans posting about it on TFW). I think it was just certain issues... but I haven't had a look through many of my volumes yet to see if I had some, or if it was the same volumes. I, like most people who probably didn't notice it either, was leaving these until I had most or all of the volumes, to go from start to finish.

Thanks mate.
I'm not sure running out of room will be an issue. There was a lot of chatter about other franchises this company has done. Once it got to the end of the advertised subscription, they just kept going including all the new content that came out between when it started and when it "finished".
So with that in mind, I suspect we'll get the finish of the Lost Light, Optimus Prime, Unicron and the 3rd Wreckers story. The Revolution/aries might be a stretch though.
Also, if they haven't planned the Devils Due stuff we might miss out on that, which is a shame :( Surely they have to include the Marvel one though?

The original Marvel crossover should have fit in volume 7 (or 6/8) but those have all come out without it. Volume 9 would be a bit late but it has too many regular issues to include.
It’s really unclear what Vol 27 “Worlds Collide part 1” will have so it might pop up there - or that might be a spot for one of the Devil Due crossovers.

I think it was mentioned somewhere that the Marvel GIJoe/TF crossover is NOT included... which would be a shame, as I much rather prefer it over the recent one that IDW did, which did get included.
As such, it wouldn't be a licensing issue, because other GIJoe crossovers are included... but I'm wondering if it was excluded in favour of the UK version of the Bumblebee-to-Goldbug story (having both versions might be difficult to rationalise in the "chronological order" of this publication - and there isn't really any other plot elements in the Marvel GIJoe/TFs that gets carried over to the main TFs comic, other than the Goldbug element, so could be skipped and not miss anything in the ongoing storyline).

Is there an issue with the colours on the last pages of Bird of Prey for others? Thought it was a misprint but the error also shows up on the title page where they reuse the art of the Mayhem Squad. I suspect the error is from the IDW recolouring efforts.

Looks like a printing error in which the blue ink was running out on the left edge on the master copy, as the same is happening on two pages before the last page (half of Nightbeat's head is white and half is blue). And since it wasn't picked up before it went to print, every copy will have the same colour missing on those two pages. (it wasn't on my original Marvel copy)

As always, mine is still sealed so I can't comment on the error.
However, if enough people complain, they've been good at going back to the printers to fix these issues.

So we should now get everything through to the end of the IDW universe.

I imagine that they would be including the Revolution/Revolutionaries comics, as they completely skipped them in the volumes so far released (https://tfwiki.net/wiki/Transformers:_The_Definitive_G1_Collection) (already up to volume 68 in the UK, which would have had them ending in the first week of January next year before this extension).
Unfortunately, it will mean that chapter of the IDW-verse will be out of order... but I hope it does get included, along with as much of the other brands in Revolutions as possible (that relates to the Transformers story or later issues).
They also missed the original TFs/GIJoe comic, and the three Devil's Due TFs/GIJoe volumes, so maybe they obtained access to those as well.
With the Gen2 comics (along with the 5 GIJoe issues leading into it), all of that might all add up to 20 volumes... but it will be an appendix of assorted eras (not that you could fit everything ever printed into one universe).

Haven’t seen yet but the Facebook page looks like a good spot to watch. There’s not enough IDW content to fill 20 volumes so the other contents are a bit of an unknown.

Did anyone else have a six week wait for Issues 52 & 53, or did mine just get held up in the mail for a couple weeks?
People were getting their previous shipment at the end of September (mine was at the post office on Monday 30th September), but the next shipment wasn't there until Tuesday 12th November (six weeks and one day... but might have been there a day or two before that as I didn't take note of it's arrival date, which the post office writes on all packages so that they know how long to hold them for).
The reason I'm asking, is so that I know when to expect the next pair of volumes, as they should be every four weeks.... which should have seen 52 & 53 come in the week of October 28th, and the current pair should have come out at the beginning of last week (I haven't checked my postbox since last Monday, so if it is back on schedule, it could actually be there - if that's the case, did anyone else get their next pair last week).
Otherwise, if their 4-weeks schedule was now pushed back 2 weeks because of the delay of the October shipment, I'd be expecting the next pair to arrive at the beginning of next week.

Anytime the debit falls in a time when your account may be emtpy, you end up further behind. that's been my experience.
there is no rhyme or reason to when they debit stuff , seem to be a diff day every month for me, and they dont bother to contact to you let you know if you've missed a payment, I always end up chasing them and sometimes do a manual payment over the phone.

Most of IDW has a very specific order that works very well but considering I'm not as familiar how UK/US is supposed to work and still have managed to notice something's up now and then I wasn't sure they'd get that right.
Also their IDW gets a bit messy at the end in a way that's fine until the series get's extended and suddenly they are doing the crossovers and even without that you could have spread out the contents of the Requiem volume. Why isn't TAAO 12 with 11 and where's the Holiday special. And-

I really hope they have copies spare to send you, as we are several months behind the UK, and the UK should be sending enough copies to the Australian distributor. The Australian distributor isn't likely to have spare copies, and since there aren't too many here now getting these, how hard can it be for the UK publisher to count to 15 or 20.
This was something I feared ages ago - if the UK publisher cuts back on their printing numbers as the UK subscribers drop off, they could run short before they have to fulfil their foreign requirements.
I think they should do another promotion to offer another run at the comics, and do a second printing... and try to crack into some other countries like HK or the US.
This has been one of the most complete printings of Transformers comics, and at really great prices (cheaper than the soft cover TPBs), so it should be something most fans should have.
Last week before I went to Melbourne, I got issues 60 & 61 (vol 54 & 48) in the mail.

I don't know if you'd be able to catch up, especially with there being no proper Australian agent anymore (the current issues just seem to be going through a forwarding source, as the payments are going directly to England).
Even if you were in England at the source, they are so far into the run that I don't think they have many of the old issues in stock on their website.
You could ask at a newsagent who gets in subscription parts, to see if they can ask about chasing up back-issues.
Otherwise, try the current contact details for Hatchette (somewhere in this topic), but be aware that (for me) they aren't reliable by email, and the phone often just rings out, when I call during the times they stated (for the timezone difference).

I hope they don't forget, or just cancel them if they have no stock left back in the UK, as that would be an insult... to invest so much time and money for a complete series, just to have some issues skipped, and expect to have you be okay with an incomplete jigsaw puzzle.
The least they could do is acquire copies listed on ebay, and just eat the cost, as their reputation is on the line if they don't deliver a full series to paying customers.

Mine were at my postbox yesterday, with an arrival date of April 23rd (the day after I last checked my postbox).
They were issue 64 and 65 (volumes 80 and 63).
