they want to get you into the spending habit with them. So these promotions are to keep you using and buying from Ebay.

The bad news is the item I bought was not available hence my discount was wasted. Have to wait for another sale.

I have found certain things on Ebay are not cheap and your regular Red Dot stores or BigW have them cheaper.

I had a chat with eBay and pointed out the worthless purchase and they were able to credit me manually on another item!
