In about a month's time, the second chapter in the Prime Wars Trilogy cartoon will begin (http://news.tfw2005.com/2017/10/16/titans-return-cartoon-series-launches-november-14th-352189), with 10 episodes of 11 minutes each, through the same American streaming service as Combiner Wars (and probably on Youtube soon after as well).

This new series will feature quite a few feature names as voice actors this time - Michael (Worf) Dorn, Jason (Power Ranger) David Frank, Wil (ST:TNG) Weaton, Judd (Rodimus Prime) Nelson, and of course, Peter (Optimus) Cullen.

Three weeks left to go, and the promotions are ramping up, with this promo poster being released (http://news.tfw2005.com/2017/10/24/machinimas-titans-return-emissary-teaser-image-352575), suggesting that there will be one for each released of the main voice actors and their character.
This one is for Jason David Frank, who appears to be voicing the character Emissary (the head of Cerebros, who is the head of Fortress Maximus).

just like the last one, I'm going to give it a crack, I hope it has a bit more substance.

I watched combiner wars on the Last Knight Blu ray. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it.

I watched combiner wars on the Last Knight Blu ray. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it.

I watched each episode on youtube as they became available. I was disappointed in their length, I'm sure the original press release said there were more episodes than were originally released and that they were 8 or 9 minutes long each, I think they ended up being just over 5 or 6 minutes each.

There was a lot of criticism of time being wasted on drawn out intro sequences, like starscreams flight sequence at the start of the second episode. I found some of the characterisation/script to be jarring.

otherwise, I thought the character models were outstanding, the environment and animation was very nice. There were some nice ideas in the writing, if not well executed. I think overeall expectations were too high, for myself and the general fandom. It's certainly not the worst transformers media that's ever been released.

I really liked the 'fight' between windblade and prime, his ease in out manoeuvring her assault was a great demonstration of his age and experience. I do look forward to seeing it on the Blu-ray as a single presentation.

They mention every other bonus feature but this one on the back cover. I rarely watch bonus discs so I wouldn't have known if you hadn't mentioned it.

Watched it in one go this morning, it was much better than watching the episodes individually. So I think I'll do the same this time with Titans Return.

The second promo poster has been released (http://news.tfw2005.com/2017/10/30/machinimas-titans-return-metroplex-poster-352860), with Metroplex, being voiced by Nolan North.

It wasn't great, but it was certainly easier to watch the 43 minutes all in one hit. I bought the Sanity exclusive edition today, and it didn't have it on the case... maybe it was a last minute addition, as it advertises the release of Titans Return in November.

It's an advertised feature of the target edition in the US, I'm guessing that rather than spend the money on printing two different discs and worrying about which packs they were put in they just printed the same disc for everyone and didn't mention it everywhere else. It's not false advertising if it's an unmentioned extra right?, though it really takes the wind out of the sales of the target exclusive if that was the reason people were purchasing from them.

I’m sure we have all seen the episode “Starscreams ghost” but they make it sound like starscream turned into trypticon instead of possessing him, and if that’s the case.... sigh. Was nice to hear Peter Cullen’s voice though, there’s just no substitute for greatness!

UltraMarginal

I guess it's a start. I totally get the confusion of starscreams voice coming from Trypticon, hopefully it's a possession and not Trypticon being starscream.

A two minute clip of some of the voice actors for the new series (https://www.facebook.com/machinima/videos/10150951909229987/), talking about their new roles... including Micheal Dorn (from Star Trek) and Judd Nelson (from the 1986 Transformers movie).

Judd Nelson is even wearing the same beanie (and beard) from BotCon 2016.

The first two episodes are now out (https://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/first-two-episodes-of-machinimas-transformers-titans-return-animated-series-released/40028/), which can be found on their website (https://www.go90.com/videos/2NhyXKyeaJh) (if you are in America, or are using a browser that can get around geo-blocking), or on their app.
Combiner Wars was eventually posted on youtube, so this one will probably be there soon too.

Sound quality is bad in parts... like muffled. Other than that (and Starscream's voice and dialog) not bad so far.

I couldn't find go90 app on iTunes Store, so it must be limited to the US.
Grr...

Wish they'd put it on Netflix or other streaming services, but probably a go90 exclusive deal

Happens all the time with tv content . We're more likely to have someone mirror it than we are for them to remove the geo-blocking

Worse than that, I've found that the acting is sub-par and it's hard to feel anything for any of the characters - even when you're meant to.

I wonder why they haven't made this (legally) available to non-Americans yet.

It seems that they were releasing these at the same time on their Tumblr page for non-Americans to watch, or they just updated their old posts to add in the videos.
All ten episodes appear to be there, but I can't seem to watch Episode 2 (it might have a glitch). I also haven't clicked on four of them, so I can't say if all of the other nine work either.
If they fix it, or if you can find a copy of episode 2 elsewhere, you can now see the series, legally on their Tumblr page (https://transformersprimewars.tumblr.com/) (which also has screenshots and action gifs.

Episode 1 - Aftermath and Rebirth (https://transformersprimewars.tumblr.com/post/167489436213/watch-the-first-episode-of-transformers-titans)

Yeah he really liked them but had his fill by episode 8 (so about 1 1/2 hours in). But Dad wanted to watch them all in a row so he persevered ;)

He did dig seeing a lot of Dad's toys that he has helped transform over the past few years in animation.

I'd say more but don't wanna give out spoilers, might be time to start a review thread :)

I would suggest, not having any current experience that 1.5 hours is a pretty good run for a young fella watching anything.
I might try to fit in some episodes over the next few weeks worth of lunches. I am curious, almost morbidly so.
