G'day all,

New here, posted these in the Intro thread, but then saw this 'creative' section.

Costume made from polystyrene, cardboard and lots of paint. It has evolved a bit since my 1st go at it, now has a mini speaker behind the faceplate that you can plug a phone into. This + an Optimus soundboard app is pretty funny!

Toy has moving joints, made from mainly wood. Made it for my son (2yr old) who is still too little for actual transformers with small plastic parts. Took me forever to make!

Those are EPIC! Brilliant ideas, brilliant execution.

Did you happen to take any WIP photos? If so, I for one would love to see them.

Outstanding on both counts, your son is a lucky little fellow!

I too would love to see some 'in work' photos.

My daughter was playing with Transformers plushies and PlaySkool Transformers until she was old enough for figures with small parts. :) Rescue Bots is actually the longest running TF series ever and the show is actually fairly well written given its target audience. It actually has more character development - something sorely lacking in the live action films. :) The stories are also more age appropriate as the Rescue Bots - as the title suggests - save the day by performing rescue operations rather than fighting. Also sends a nice positive message to kids about what real life heroes do. :D

Anyway -- COOL COSTUMES! :D
