View Full Version : Unreleased Kup redeco from GEN-14 Orion Pax toy

Remember about 5-8 years ago, when Hasbro would design toys with multiple heads for different redeco releases and then leaked those potential
redecos by showing the alternative robot heads in the Instructions... and then quite a few of them have never been released, which was a real tease.
Well, one of those alternative heads for the Deluxe Orion Pax toy has been revealed would have been for a Kup redeco. Pete Sinclair has revealed this information visually (http://news.tfw2005.com/2018/02/08/unreleased-transformers-generations-kup-orion-pax-retool-revealed-357948),
by having someone custom paint an Orion Pax toy (or one of the Club reuses of that mould) with a Kup head, which they must have had left on
the sprue for their BotCon 2015 Custom Class toy.

I'm guessing as promotion for his convention later in the year.

I would have most likely bought this, I wonder if it was cancelled because of the knowledge of the Titan master Kup that came out.

It would have made a great custom class toy.

I really loved the look of this and would have bought it. Didn't buy TR version coz I love the Universe version more, especially with the 3P head. This I would have bought in an jnstant. The greens look popping

I'm not sure if that would have been the actual colours though, as the description suggests that they don't know what it would have looked like... only that they had accidentally received the Kup head, and therefore knew that it would have been released as a Kup toy.
I think Hasbro would have used a darker aqua (like the last couple of Kup toys), and a lot less paint apps.
