RID season 3 vol 1 DVD released

Found this while browsing the JB HiFi website, the first DVD of Robots in Disguise season 3 (https://www.jbhifi.com.au/movies-tv-shows/movies-tv-shows-on-sale/tv-childrens/transformers-robots-in-disguise-king-of-the-hill/603676/) came out this week.

Would guess there will be four in total, maybe five.

Description from the JB site:

Bumblebee, still relaxing after the Autobots’ triumph over Starsceam, feels his team can tackle any issue that might come up… but the Bee Team unprepared when they face a Stunticon that proves more formidable and crafty than they anticipated!

Had to edit the title, as I got really excited about it being the whole season 3 being released.
I guess it will mean we won't see a season set, as we didn't see one for Season 2 before they moved onto season 3.

I saw it today at JB, and noticed that it doesn't have a volume number on the spine... which could just be an oversight.

The second volume of season 3 is slated for July 4th - 3 months after the first volume.
It looks like it will have seven episodes (http://news.tfw2005.com/2018/05/01/transformers-robots-disguise-combiner-force-golden-knight-dvd-australia-363212) (which will mean four volumes for season 3, if they do the entire season), and it will be titled The Golden Knight.

a little bit off topic, but have they released a box set for season 2 yet?

I hate buying individual volumes

Still only season 1 as a box set.... and the season 2 volumes are really hard to find, so we really need a box set.

Looks like the final two volumes are now known, with volume 3 out this month, and volume 4 out in December.


Volume 3 is called Combine and Conquer (https://www.sanity.com.au/products/2387848/Transformers_-_Robots_In_Disguise_-_Combine_And_Conquer), with 7 episodes.
Volume 4 is called Freedom Fighters (http://news.tfw2005.com/2018/10/14/transformers-robots-in-disguise-combiner-force-freedom-fighters-dvd-australia-374216), with 6 episodes.


That will complete the RID cartoon on DVD.
(no hint of a season set though... but they did re-release season 1 a few times)
