At the end of the month the US Amazon site will be closed off to Australian customers. While there is an AUS version, it has 60m items as opposed to the US site that has 580m! Also the AUS version is hideously expensive whereas some great deals could be found on the US site. There have also been some Amazon exclusive toys that could be obtained nowhere else.


What Transformer toys and products in your collection did you purchase from US Amazon?
I can't remember some of them, but will list what I can remember:

Slightly Depressing thread this one.

Pretty certain I got Piranahcon,
Snazzy Unicron.
TR Black Shadow

Most importantly, more than I can remember and most of them were not available in Australia (Hence me going to US amazon)

Annoyingly, even though I am in Japan, and my current address is set to Japan, every time I go to the US site, it's trying to push me to the AUS one. Ha ha ha, NOOO THANKYOU

Got Predaking G1 reissue with super cheap shipping & paid the consequence with beaten up box. Stopped using them after that.

Scored AoE Galvatron, Leader Grimlock, Slug and Strafe in 2014. Then RiD Drift and CW Hotspot (as he didn't show up til heaps later IIRC) in 2015

They had some pretty good deals over the years. For instance AOE Rollbar was $19 in the shops here and I got him on Amazon for $4. And since he was being posted with another significantly larger toy I paid no postage on him :)

Usually stuff I was too late to preorder/cannot find.

Things like CW Groove Deluxe, the wave 2 POTP dinobots etc.

Sites like Camel^3 also make it easier to "wait out" for cheaper prices.

Wow! That's a major bargain, too bad he's a stinkin' Bayformer :p

Takara AOE Scorn and Human Alliance Soundwave are literally the only two I think.

Combiner Wars Computron. My order went 10 days without being shipped, I contacted them and they found it was their error and gave me free shipping.

I've bought quite a few TF books throught Amazon though. Several of the IDW Collection hardcovers, the Premier Edition IDW Hardcover, How To Draw TFs, the Art of IDW. I also bought the TFTM Score CD from them.
