a transformers heavy metal war rpg minitures game?
a transformers battle front (similar to battlefield vietnam) game?
or
an online transformers game based on both cybertron and earth?

the reason i ask this is because i have been playing alot of games on the ps2 and psp, and ive been looking for a really good transformers game but of what ive heard, all of the games the have to do with transformers are really bad, so whattype of these games would you buy?

Dunno.. never played that game before.
I did collect Transformers AttackTix which I enjoy playing (it's an underrated game IMO).
I'd ideally like to see a TF game made to the rough scale and with the same system as D&D and Star Wars miniatures.

Yes. I like FPS's and we sorely need a TF game with multiplayability.

Umm... probably not. I'm not much of an online gamer, but I occasionally LAN. I might get it if it's good and can be LANned without having to be online to play...

oh yeah, both the FPS and online/LAN game would also need a 1-player mode too, even if it's just bots. There are times when I don't feel like playing with other players.

I've yet to come across a TF video game that I've been really impressed with. My favourite would be the Transformers Armada "Prelude to Energon" game which I thought was really well designed, but let down by the lack of multiplayer option. The movie game was okay, but I found it annoying hard (I don't game much) and yeah, still no multiplayer option.

I have a few TF board games such as the Transformers Beast Wars Mutating Card Game (it's mostly a card game but played on a board), Transformers Armada: Battle For Cybertron (miniatures board game), Transformers AttackTix (miniatures battle game) and Transformers Monopoly.

I would like a 1st or 3rd person FPS TF game. :)

Multiplayer would be really difficult for Transformers tho. One of the hardest aspects of multiplayer games with different characters is balance - realilsticly if you had a fight between a F-15 and a fire engine who do you think would win. Somehow there has to be a way of compensating.

none to be honest, I'm not a gamer. I have moments where I almost dive in but never have games grabbed me by my spark and demanded my attention

All those ideas rock. I generally denigrate MMORPG'rs and the people that play them (sorry WoW fans) as my first loves are RTS and FPS but a Transformers MMORPG would be awesome.

I'd just love for the Attacktix line to continue. I only got about half of the figures thanks to the blind packing, and the cost $10 for 2 figures, one of which you most likely had half a dozen of already is not the best selling option ever made).

The 2nd waves of figures, looked to be stunning, but I have not heard of any release of them anywhere.

Yeah, it's been officially canned. Disappointing cos as u say, the best was yet to come.

$10 for 2 miniatures really sucked... I think the game would've been way more popular had it offered better value for money. :/

There is no TF game released that would match any of the games listed. At best every TF video game release so far has been more as merchandise to promote the movie or a cartoon, nothing that would stand up by itself.

However if they put their minds and souls into it they could very much create a totally kick a$$ Transformers RPG if its based on Marvel G1.

I think a TF RPG should be originally based on G1 but the core system should be compatible with other TF series too. They could release additional books based on Beast Wars et al.

The same could happen with a Miniatures game based on the D&D/Star Wars system. The initial set would be G1 but then they could release subsequent sets based on other series too.

I wouldn't mind the second and third idea. But I think it's unlikely that we'll get a really good TF game in the near future. Hopefully they'll learn from their mistakes with the first TF movie game and the second one will be greatly improved.

A TF RPG (computer game) should allow you to create your own character with the licensed characters being NPC's.

I would so buy a re-imagined (ie. excellent gameplay) version of this game (http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=1ybTMnh6AFc) but the chance of that happening is...

I've never even seen that before.
IMO some games are worth getting just for the intro and cut scenes.

That game isn't worth ANYTIHNG, trust me. What a waste of money that was.

They made that kind of game for Beast Wars (Transmetals). I've heard it's not very good though.

Well there you go, didn't know that, I don't recall ever seeing it in any stores or anything. I just checked out some videos of it, and you're right, it doesn't look very good...

i think it was a japanese game, my second question was going to be with the rpg one, if it were to be a minitures would you wwant the toys to transform, or for them to be very detailed, or if it were a platform game, where should it be based? and what types of adventures would you like to see ( i.e. starwars had the old republic, time wars, galactic civil war)

I've got the G1 game on my mobile phone that just came out. It's a turn based action/stratergy game. For a mobile phone game it is very good. There is so much potential there for a bigger/better game on a proper platform... One can always dream I guess.
