Yep. And you know what sucks? The code we were all given for $20 off our first purchase from Amazon AU doesn't work because Punch is not shipped by the AU part of the company, only the US one :(:mad:

Incorrect, google shown me that it DOESN'T take upfront payment, and I just pre-ordered everything I saw that I wanted, nothing on my statements as of now, best part is I can cancel the orders before they arrive

Strange, I put in my card details and everything, didnt use a coupon, DID sign up for prime (trial) and I see no charge, google also confirmed no upfront payments, this was what I saw on google, should be no different from the au site

1) the shipping label had the wrong address, luckily I used a parcel locker and so I got a notification to pick it up at a post office a few suburbs away.

2) despite no damage to the outer packaging, Predaking's box itself had a huge hole punched through the box art, indicating it was already damaged during the picking process.

Quite disappointing really.

Mine arrived without issue or any visible damage to either box. So... bad luck? But yeah, Amazon may offer you some credit, or may ask you to return for a new one. That may or may not be worth the hassle for you.

Yeah, it was definitely bad luck for the damaged packaging, I was more annoyed that they got the shipping address wrong as it could have been shown as delivered but to another address which would have been a pain to sort out.

I've had no issues with Amazon in all my other orders but just wanted to vent a bit as it dampened the excitement of getting Predaking. Contacted them via chat and they issued $20 credit so all good now :)

Today I got an email saying a book I preordered wouldn’t be available (despite still being listed on the site as in stock and available).

Yesterday I went to buy a few items (a Blu-ray and a magazine) on Japan’s Amazon (for which I have an account and have ordered from before) that were listed as “available to ship to Australia” - all of which at the checkout suddenly couldn’t be shipped to an Australian address and I should go to the local site (which doesn’t sell Japanese Blu-rays or Japanese magazines)

Amazon US still claims that items are available to ship to Australia, but of course they don't do that anymore due to the tax changes. I believe that's the case with all Amazon regions now - they won't ship to us not because of the new Australian arm, but because they're too lazy to deal with our tax laws. :)

I see that Counterpunch is now available as in-stock, so they must have found more stock... and could have covered the people that they warned they couldn't guarantee stock to.


And is it just me, or did they remove "new & popular" from the sorting menu? I don't like the "popular" element, but "new" helps me see what has just been added or released. The American Amazon had "newest arrivals" on its sorting menu... which was how I always searched their site... particularly when there are thousands of items in the search.
The Australian and US import listings are still only small, but I don't like having to search through every page, when I could just search through the first 3 or 4 of "new" items.

I'm frustrated because I've laboured a mate who lives in the US with bringing back Counterpunch and Repugnus for me when it turns out I could have bought them locally, albeit for a higher expense to me, but less trouble on his part holding on to them for months and then fitting them in his luggage when he returns for Christmas. I'm guessing the price is either an artifact of the US pricing for Siege being higher than previous lines or the fact Amazon's pricing system is largely automated.

For those that don't know how Amazon's system works. It goes out on the internet and looks for competitors prices, then looks at demand for the item and adjust the price up or down depending on what competitors and demand are doing.

You just have to be patient. I add everything I’m interested in to my cart and monitor them on a daily basis as the prices change everyday.

Nothing notably damaged with it (fortunately), but it was odd for Amazon to use an envelope, when they always use boxes. Even if it was likely to be from a third party, these are handled and shipped by Amazon, so should go through their usual shipping/packing processes.

Has anyone gotten their Siege Mirage and Impactor shipping notice from Amazon yet? They were meant to be released on the 1st. I'm wondering if they have been delayed to October along with the boxset versions and Amazon just haven't updated the individual listings???

They've always been listed on my orders as 'Due to arrive September 15th' and sure enough on the 16th they shipped.

I just ordered it too with the same cashback. It's a great price compared to elsewhere, I put in a pre-order with Mighty Ape last week for $205 delivered but fortunately they let me cancel so I could jump on this. To be fair I did request they price match before I cancelled but they declined. Only 1 left at Amazon though it says they will get more in.

Nothing really useful in this post (feel free to skip it) but it looks like *some* poeple in USA also did not got their SIEGE Barricades, and are still waiting on them, but *without* getting the cancel notice we got here.
So if you are going to re-order, (if we get a new listing) don't be surprised if it gets cancelled a second time (you'll still be in line behind them) or gets pushed back or not return at all.

I hope they do get some in next couple months, but given how spotty hasbro are with stuff, I would not be the least bit surprised if we didnt get any (via amazon) until next year.

In late July, I saw Omega Supreme listed at the pre-order price of $252.06 on Amazon AU (shipping from Amazon US). Amazon prices always fluctuate and I haven't seen it that low since.
