Not a whole lot going on right now with Transformers comics... but it looks like Chris Ryall (a name us Transformers fans knew well when IDW got the Transformers license in 2005 (https://tfwiki.net/wiki/Chris_Ryall)), is returning to IDW (he only left earlier this year), to take up the position of President, Publisher and Chief Creative Officer (http://news.tfw2005.com/2018/12/11/chris-ryall-rejoins-idw-publishing-as-president-publisher-and-chief-creative-officer-378634).
In other words... he's filling a big void, and while there appears to be nothing on the horizon for Transformers, IDW probably needs all the help they can get at the moment, as he is being credited with acquiring licenses for some of their more popular comic titles (including Transformers).
(not sure what is happening with John Barber, as he was taking on at least one of these roles when Ryall left)

The Lost Light comic may have wrapped up last month, but it has made the short list of IGN's comic of the year (http://news.tfw2005.com/2018/12/12/transformers-lost-light-nominated-for-igns-comic-book-series-of-the-year-2018-378802)... up for a public vote, so it will probably lose to a Marvel or DC comic.

Chris Ryall has sent a letter of re-introduction to retailers (http://news.tfw2005.com/2018/12/25/open-letter-to-retail-partners-from-idw-president-publisher-and-chief-creative-officer-chris-ryall-379683)... and probably to reassure them that IDW is still in business in their 20th year, despite recently needing to borrow funds as well as more financing from shareholders soon (http://news.tfw2005.com/2018/12/25/idw-media-holdings-financial-and-operational-disclosures-detail-cash-needs-379678).

That’s not good news for IDW. It’s sad as I know they have a number of non hasbro related titles that fans loved and I am not sure if they are still in print.

I don’t really do the youtube thing so does anyone have an opinion about McFeely (that would’ve been a fun name to grow up with) that might indicate that this historia may be worth picking up?

-edit-
It seems historia has been pushed back to Jan 9th... IDW can never get a book out when they first say it will be out can they??? :(

I think it won a people's choice award 😀
