Hi i was thinking about getting (if i do i need to save up) display case and i thought, i would make a thread where everyone can talk about display cases.

That moducase looks really good, but i'd need some sort of online designer tool to get me really interested! :D

Got two of the glass cases from ikea, (detolf). I put them both together solo, so is doable if you take care. Also they have small lights (ledberg), you can install too as the cabinets have pre drilled cable holes on the tops. They go pretty well. They have many other lighting options as well, but we went just the single light.

If I ever become a millionaire I'm so going to buy a ton of Detolfs for my collection. Until that time, I'm happy with my Officeworks Hammerfast shelves.

My current display case is a Billy cabinet from Ikea with the removable shelves replaced by glass shelves and glass doors.

And a detolf like from Aldi that I think is better because you can set the shelf heights yourself.

the moducase looks cool but hella expensive.

I got a couple of these last year and love them

And i have an ikea detolf on a custom made stand to bring the bottom up the same height as the corner shelf

I added some led strip lights to the inside frame of the corner cabinet as well for aditional lighting and swapped out the lights it came with for some brighter cool white leds

Shipping turned out to be an issue , so if you do get one make sure they know its going to a residential address so they dont expect you to have a forklift when TNT turn up to your house

Nice! I would love one of those corner cabinets, I got the MSC-241 (No Lights) from them with an extra shelf earlier this year, was a bit of a mission putting together myself but I got there :D The contents needs some work to organise better.

I am nearly ready to take my Detolf shelves out of their boxes and set them up and I am looking at lighting. Has anyone tried any of the options from Bunnings?
