The Viacom (parent of Paramount) CEO has called out the Bumblebee movie as "solidly profitable" at a trade event. This is a big turnaround from The Last Knight which he says lost $100m!

Pretty safe to say we will be getting more Transformers movies :)

Oh good. I missed out on watching it at the cinema, but I'll be picking up a copy on BR/DVD once available.

Be aware that since Bumblebee had a far smaller budget than The Last Knight, it had a smaller hurdle to jump to profitability.

Smaller independent cinemas like Reading* are still screening Bumblebee.
