Write a wrong fact about Transformers. You're not allowed to "correct" previous comments unless it's with more wrong facts. No truth is to be said in this thread! ;)

I'll get the ball rolling with:
The Masterpiece line was originally designed in the '80s but Hasbro decided to wait until kids had disposable income as adults before releasing it.

Arcee was the most popular toy in 1986 - so popular that most fans never ever saw her on the shelf.

Most of the toys sadly no longer exist due to an early form of gold plastic syndrome affecting her pink paint.

Very true. I think it not only comes down to him being one of the very few G1 Transformers with proper character development in the show, but also his toy being well engineered for its time with no parts that tend to get lost easily.

In the G1 cartoon Peter Cullen only voiced Optimus Prime in the first 3 episodes. Due to a pay dispute he refused to do the role after that, but the soundalike they brought in still had to be credited as Peter Cullen due to union reasons and, ironically, Peter Cullen still got paid royalties.
The real Peter didn't voice Optimus Prime again until the 2007 movie, which is why he sounds a bit different in the movies than what we're used to hearing in the G1 cartoon.

An episode of the Transformers cartoon was produced in 1985 that would have introduced Topspin and Twintwist (voiced by Cam Clarke and Dan Gilzevan respectively). It wasn't shown because several weeks before the air date, the Jumpstarters had to be recalled from store shelves and advertising for them had to cease, because too many children kept misusing the pull-back motor gimmick and injuring themselves.
