I may repaint the bumper but at present I'm not too fussed by it :)

Heh - Thanks Liege. The thing is that - while I was doing exactly what you were suggesting - ie painting the bumpers silver - I had the misfortune of a wonderful MASKING ACCIDENT!!! I was using cling wrap to mask everything away from the back bumper and because I hadn't left the paint to dry for sufficient time (jeebus) I had to give him yet another fresh coat of paint. <_<;

The good news is: Silver bumper and bullbar
The bad news is: I'm waiting for the paint to dry for longer. Like - a few days longer - so - no bot mode pics for a while >_> Had to redo the paint on him so many times due to silly accidents that I am playing it safe now :D

Thanks Pulse :D The front - as I mentioned above is now red, with the silver bullbar - It's not coming out as shiney after a clear coat - which is disappointing but I'm still happy with it!

Anyhoo- again, sorry about the lack of new bot pics - but I think I better let this sucker dry out properly before even thinking of going there :b Oh - the temptation is too great!

And I use Tamiya paints mainly. That said, I am branching into the gunze sangyo's thanks to something I read from gamblor (I think :D - and his advice has been solid - so I'm stickin' with it!)

Also, with the paints are you purchasing them online or through a local hobby store? I've really got to get out and have a look, but i'm not even sure where to start in Perth :(

That was the first transformation since the painting and before some touching up. I've since done it and may still do some other touching up to the interior of his backpack and maybe his wheels - but otherwise pretty much sorted :)

That is a fantastic repaint. I would grade your paint scheme/colours a 10, Henkei 9, and Hasbro a 2.
