Well Earthrise Quintesson (looks like renders) has been revealed (https://news.tfw2005.com/2020/02/21/war-for-cybertron-earthrise-allicon-doubledealer-runamuck-snapdragon-quintesson-revealed-405851) and it transforms into something that looks like a set piece from the '84 movie.

(moved these posts to separate topic, so that they don't get mixed up with the NY Toyfair reveals... which most might end up being officially revealed there later today with better images)
These very small blurry images were located on the Walmart website/app, with no details yet.
Earthrise (https://news.tfw2005.com/2020/02/21/war-for-cybertron-earthrise-allicon-doubledealer-runamuck-snapdragon-quintesson-revealed-405851) - Snapdragon, Doubledealer, Runamuck, Allicon, Quintesson (looks like this is the base/platform mode, as the judge's heads appear to be flipped up in this mode to hide the faces).
Cyberverse (https://news.tfw2005.com/2020/02/21/first-look-at-transformers-cyberverse-build-a-figure-deluxe-arcee-405865) - Arcee (this is the wave 3 Deluxe toy with Macaddam parts - it looks like it's gonna be the year of Arcee this year, with a Cyberverse, Earthrise and masterpiece toy now revealed)
Studio Series (https://news.tfw2005.com/2020/02/21/transformers-studio-series-soundwave-sentinel-prime-and-constructicons-revealed-405858) - TF2 Soundwave (satellite alt-mode), Sentinal Prime (box recently revealed), Constructicon Overload (revealed a couple weeks ago in Japan).

Looks like the upcoming Netflix cartoon for War For Cybertron could be introducing characters that aren't in the main toyline.
Ever since the fourth Transformers Movie (Age of Extinction) had all toy versions of Stinger be Walmart exclusives, Hasbro seem to be intent on making sure that some characters in their cartoons and movies, have limited availability, forcing collectors to go to extreme lengths or expense to acquire them. And with such a large percentage of War For Cybertron toys are limited exclusives, this is just going to keep forcing fans to be hostile towards Hasbro, instead of winning them over with new characters and ideas.
(not to mention that a Netflix show, is very unlikely to be easily available to people who don't spend money every month on various streaming services, because this cartoon isn't likely to be showing up on youtube (legally or as a recording), or in stores)
Anyway, on to the mirrored images and details....
- A very minor redeco of Siege Hound (probably with black scorching battle damage like the others here)
- Siege Sideswipe with scorched battle damage
- Siege Chromia with scorched battle damage
- A Decepticon Mirage in a grey/purple deco (the colouring reminds me of Siege Skywarp)
- Scrapface (a blue/red/grey redeco of Refraktor, with colours looking like a cross between Perceptor and Slamdance)
- Megatron 3-pack - Siege Megatron with a darker deco and battle scratches, packed with two redeco Battlemasters.
- Hotlink 3-pack - a purple/black redeco of Siege Starscream with two redeco Battlemasters that could be twins or clones as they are the same (or the official image is incorrect)
- Ultra Magnus Spoiler Pack - just a photo of a box with "spoilers" written on it, so we have no idea what is in it, other than maybe a redeco Ultra Magnus and something that would be a spoiler to the Netflix cartoon.

Please Hasbro, don't make me buy Megatron or Hotlink to get more obscure G1 Targetmasters/Action Master partners.
That orange Lionizer redeco makes me think it's Catgut.

I'm a bit crushed DD doesn't come with 2 Titanmasters at the very least. Those MS Paint battle damage apps are also a bit how you goin'? We've moved away from bird poo to cat scratches

I think Scrapface might be inspired by the appearance of Reflector type robots in #4 of the Marvel Comic. I need to go home and check my copies.

Allicon doesn't look right to me, standing upright in beast mode... I hope that the actual toy is able to be more low-lying like in the 1986 movie (https://tfwiki.net/wiki/File:Killing_Jar_Allicon_beastmode.jpg), as it looks really good in robot mode, and the beast head is really nice, so having it standing upright would spoil it a bit. And it just looks like it turns around to transform, as you can see the other mode arms in both modes...

In years past I'd just say that the photographer didn't know how to transform the figure and pose it. These days with the CGI renders......

I wonder if Hasbro would finally be willing to do a Euro G1 character and make an Earthrise Stalker out of Double Dealer?

It's been revealed, Hasbro is doing a generations selects set of 4 micromaster tapes and that 2 of them are supposed to emulate the powermasters. If you look at Doubledealer's chest and here in vehicle mode there's space for a micromaster tape to go. (https://news.tfw2005.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/10/2020/02/DSC09919.jpg)

I guess I can understand why they didn't go the Titanmaster route, because the original Doubledealer was a Powermaster, and those little guys turned into engines that were more rectangular than head-shaped...
So it looks like the Transformers guys at Hasbro thought about that with Doubledealer, by releasing two cassette-bots as Knok (Rumble with new head) and Skar (Ratbat with new head) as part of a 4-pack in the Generations Selects line (https://news.tfw2005.com/2020/02/22/toy-fair-2020-transformers-war-for-cybertron-earthrise-official-images-406205) (which means two separate purchases to complete Doubledealer), AND... they gave the Doubledealer toy a place to store one cassette (https://www.allspark.com/2020/02/confirmed-double-dealer-can-hold-cassettes-new-york-toy-fair-display/) (maybe both?) to homage the original toy having one Powermaster plugged in to unlock one of its two alt-modes.
As for the cat scratches on Megatron - the Netflix trailer actually has Megatron with deep gashes on his chest, so those paint apps end up being cartoon accurate, even if it looks a little insignificant on the toy.

The Titanmasters thing was the cheapest add-on that could work with a figure that I could think of, but yeah, glad that they've given us a proper Skar & Knok that works with DD.
And that kids is why you should wait for full reveals :D

It's understandable to initially assume that it should have come with Titanmasters, as previous "Powermasters" had Titanmasters (Optimus, Dreadwing, Darkwing, Overlord, Getaway), and if Doubledealer had Titanmasters they would have scaled with those others... but now they won't.
Now we kinda need remoulds of the Rumble/Frenzy/Knok toy done as other Powermaster engines to scale with Knok and Skar. Something TakaraTomy probably would have done, if they weren't stuck with just releasing Hasbro product (they did it during Titanmasters, releasing various Targetmaster guns with their toys, because Hasbro were only releasing the heads as their Nebulan companions).

It was noted on twitter that Doubledealer could possibly be tooled as Deathsaurus (https://twitter.com/Protoman/status/1231341198226477058) and this new powermaster-emulating gimmick also used to replicate the Breastmaster gimmick.

Someone noted on twitter somewhere that they think Decepticon Mirage's colour scheme might have been inspired by Rescue Bots Morbot... which I can now see.

Totally used the wrong mould for G1 Sunstreaker -Wheeljack should have been used. Now it looks like a half arsed attempt at his Countach super tuned mode, except the rear end of the car isn't there.
Trailbreaker is Trailbreaker.

Sunstreaker looks bloody amazing! Definite purchase for me. I love that the robot chest is the actual car roof. I was worried when I saw Runabout revealed that Streaker would be a retool of that, and also have a fake car roof chest like that figure.
I'll endeavour to find a gun for him that isn't the double vent things, because that looks a bit trash.
