On the subject of haircuts, I recently cut my own hair entirely by myself. One of the best haircuts I've had in a long while. I saved $15-20 and only used the electricity needed to power the hair clippers!

Since Rego expires next week (& that'll set me back $700+ all up :(), I've had to replace some things so that the beast won't get knocked back (those who've seen my car in person know that it's not exactly factory-standard anymore).

Anyway, the wipers were all cracked so today I replaced them myself :). I'm beginning to feel like a mechanic now so I think I might get started on fitting that supercharger while keeping it under the bonnet... :D

The Movie Masters Batman mould is just awesome, I thought he would be disappointing because he is smaller than the DC comics figures and I usually like the comic style figures more, but the amount of detail on him is amazing, really cool. DC Universe Batman is very cool too but mine is a bit loose and has trouble standing :(

Well, my non-tf acquisition for today was another 12 months of Rego. It set me back a total of $685.20 :( (inspection + Green Slip + RTA fees) & I can't even drive my car at the moment (alternator is currently getting replaced by an Auto-Electrician Family Friend).

You've gotta luv spending money on Rego/Repairs for the car... *deep sigh*

I think the overall price depends on what type of car you drive, how new it is, how old you are, what state you live in etc. (When I got my P's some 10 years ago, I remember my Rego coming to a total of approx. $800)

I don't care for 808s & Heartbreak. I can't say I'm dissapointed with the new album, I knew what to expect when I listened through it, I'm just not a fan of that style. I prefer my normal hip hop thank you very much.

Oh god I loved Nas (more of a Nas fan then a Kanye one so his appearance was ace), dropping tracks from Illmatic just got my pumped, I just lost it, it was just ace! And Black President (from Untitled) was the icing on the cake.

Kanye just blew the stage away. Those light shows were intense. I absolutely loved it when he almost (?) got hit with a glow stick (or something) half way through a song (forgot which one) and he just stops and starts free styling at the culprit saying how he almost ruined it for everyone and that he should "eat shit and die" and got us the crowd to chant that with him. That was just ace.

When he came back with Jesus Walks and Stronger that was just bloody awesome. I reckon he should have wrapped the concert up with those two songs instead of performing Heartless and Love Lockdown for the finale. I mean wow when he did those two 808s & Heartbreak songs, they just felt like they went forever, Kanye also started to "vent" and all in all it wasn't quite the "high" to finish the night on.

Favourite songs for the evening; Touch the Sky, Good Life, Flashing Lights and Stronger.

Daimos (and Gold Lightan) were my two childhood dream toys. I finally bought Gold Lightan, both the reissue of the original, and Bandai's new SOC (Soul of Chogokin) version when I visited HK in Janurary.

This new Daimos toy is also from the SOC line and has plenty of diecast. :) The little car stays in when you transform - the car compartment hides nicely inside the left foot. He comes with ALL weapons (including the later upgrades in the toon). They can all be stored/displayed on a big weapon stand included. (Will post some pics of them later.)

I would love to get modern SOC versions of both Combattler V and Voltes V too, to complete the trio. Given my current financial status I would probably do it towards the end of next year.

Before, I admire the truck mode more than the robot form...
But with this new Daimos, the bot mode is totally radical!!! :cool:

The arms aren't actually detachable, they are still connected and linked by panels when you swing them down to the legs. The small robot head and big truck cab take turns hiding inside the body between the two modes. :D

I sat down halfway through Love Lockdown as did quite a lot of people did. I think most of the crowd just got a bit restless.

Yeah I would of loved to have heard some more tracks from College Dropout, I was pumped when he did Get 'Em High (one of my favourites from said album) but he autotuned his way through it and well it just wasn't quite the same.

Nas was a lot more "raw", he definitely deserved a bit more attention and appreciation from the crowd. Guess most of the crowd didn't know what an amazing hip hop legend he really is. I would of stood up for him but it would of been a bit odd as none of my friends and no one in my area did. But I did raise my fist and sing along.

1TB is 1000 gigs.

You need a USB port and a power outlet and you're set. Just plug it in and Windows should automatically recognize it, set it up by itself and away it goes.

If you grew up liking SFII, then this new game is sex on a control pad. Definitely worth it. They designed it to be friendly to both experienced players and newbie. Gameplay and graphics are both very very nicely done and I have no complaint. I won't tell you where we got ours yet, don't want to get the guy into trouble for his honest mistake... :o:p

Oh I think the collector's pack is worth it too, but only if you're a SF fan. It's got the feature length movie with the game trailers on a bonus disc, plus the bonus downloadable costumes. The figurines and the little guide book didn't do much for me. :p

Received today Absolute Batman Hush. Absolutely beautiful, Jim Lee is of course a great artist, but in the larger hardcover format, everything just looks so much better, much more clearer, the colours seem so much more vibrant. It's second hand, and unfortunately has a slight rip in the top of the dust jacket, but for $50 posted I'm not too fussed, as I will more than likely rip part of it myself haha :p inside it's perfect.

I'm sweet over summer as my radio barely leaves the ABC Commentary. POst cricket season, whenever I try to listen to JJJ all I get is the crap-hop and people talking over synthed beats...

Got a new display shelf for my Transformers from Ikea (not a nice Deltoff unit, just shelves). Due to re-arranging furniture for a new fishtank, I now have about half the display space I had, so have had to cut right back down on display figures. Not happy with the layout as is.

Around about 600 can be more or less depending on options. Technicaly its only usable in games of over 3000 points or so (aka Apocalypse). Fortunately we play big multiplayer games at my local gaming club. I'd be the first to admit 40k may not be the most clever game but seeing 15 leman Russ's driving down the table is pretty damn cool.
