As expected when Hasbro announced in February that their newly purchased entity Entertainment One was taking over future Transformers media projects (from Boulder Media), the current cartoons of Cyberverse and Rescue Bots Academy were likely to end. It was already confirmed that the 3rd season of the Cyberverse cartoon was the last one, and now today we have the director of the Rescue Bots Academy cartoon tweeting out (https://news.tfw2005.com/2020/06/28/transformers-rescue-bots-academy-cartoon-is-ending-after-season-2-413748) that that show has now officially wrapped up as well after 2 seasons.

It's interesting to note that the Rescue Bots Academy cartoon had 104 (11-minute) episodes in just 2 seasons, but the Cyberverse cartoon being produced at the same time and by the same company (to advertise the primary Transformers toyline) only ended up with 62 (11-minute) episodes across 3 seasons.
Since there is a LOT more product in the Cyberverse toyline to have to sell to retailers (and to consumers), it is odd to see those numbers not being swapped around.

(fun fact - 104 episodes was the record number of episodes in one cartoon set by the first Rescue Bots cartoon, which means both Rescue Bots "kiddie" cartoons have the two highest number of episodes... even though the Academy cartoon are half-sized episodes)
