Note the fine print: 1 of 2 complete sets. I know of a third set of the five figures without accessories. There may be more of them out there too, but not as a complete set. There are certainly carded examples of all four G2 Stunticon limbs (not Motormaster though).

Still a very cool and rare set regardless. Congrats to whoever buys it!

What an amazing piece of G2 glory. Price point is a fair way off imho, maybe auction it with a starting price of $19K USD, I guess it depends on what he paid or if he's selling for a third party as to the reasoning for the price. I'm sure the seller will get plenty of side offers, he's been around for ages. Don't forget $5500 AUD GST for us Aussie shmucks on top of the price :D

I use shipito.com, who bases the gst on declared customs value. You fill your own customs form out, and let's just say you leave off a few zeroes

My max would be $22K AUD, today, right now no question, I would have to sell a bit of my collection but G1 and 2 would be safe. I made a few bids on the G2 Menasor debacle five or so years ago and in AUD I think I was up around the $14K mark, our dollar was much stronger then though. Despite this being one of the rarest ever I think the seller is dreaming, halve the US price and they may have a chance at selling it.
