A better toy than I expected and a massive improvement over the Elite Class toy (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php/26827-Toy-Review-Cyberverse-Grimlock-(Elite-Class)) (though that's not hard). The more unique leg transformation is interesting (although I can't get mine to clip in completely flush in dino mode, but I could be doing something wrong). I like the way that the right robot foot is used to fill in the dino mode chest cavity, although the left foot just sits on the back of the dino mode like a sore thumb like it's got nowhere else to go. The dino head is pretty puny for a supposed Tyrannosaurus Rex. The way that the crown is able to attach on both the robot and dino heads is something new. The flame effect looks really good in dino mode but rather silly as the robot's melee weapon. He's literally holding a column of fire in his hand. Speaking of hands, the fists become the heel spurs in dino mode which is a bit of an eyesore.

If I can get these for $12 each like the first wave, sure. $29 is too much.

Yeah that's also my thing with these figures. I like the look of them, but I can't bring myself to pay the same price as a standard deluxe for them.
