Lately I've noticed Lego sets that involve transforming mechs.............something I never thought possible without going down the Bionicle-inspired path (e.g. Construct-Bots).
So here's what I've seen:
Thunder Raider (Ninjago)
Phantom Fire Truck (Hidden Side)
Bastion (Overwatch)

There’s heaps out there in the MOC community. Plenty of people selling instructions.
Here’s one example of a MOC TF (https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=x2o-loDqofo)

Wow, didn't know those existed and makes me want to pick one up. Do wonder, would Lego Voltron count?

If it transforms between a lion and a combinable limb then it would have to.

One has to wonder why Lego never got licences to do a TF range. Or is it Hasbro/Takara that's to blame?
