(this is quicker than posting updates to several different topics)
Some good news and some bad news, fellow Transformers fans.
First up the good news - for those who were wondering where the Netflix Ultra Magnus toy was, well, before you spend a fortune on securing one from overseas, it is still going to be at Kmart, but not until the Christmas sales begin later this year.
Gigawatt in October - should end up being at EB Games, Amazon Australia and possibly Popcultcha, JBHifi & Mr Toys.
For New Zealand, it will be at MightyApe, Toyco and EB Games.
And now the bad news - the following items are NOT coming here to retailers (some independent online stores may import their own stock)...
- WFC-29 Seeker 2-pack
- WFC-30 Clones 2-pack
- WFC-GS18 Autobot Tigertrack
- Centurion Drone (grey Siege Brunt) with weapons pack
- Alternate Universe Optimus (grey redeco)
This info is to help out collectors here who are wanting any of them, to not wait and hope they are released here... to go and secure them now from overseas before they go out of stock and cost a lot more on the secondary market later.

Tigertrack is up for preorder at Popcultcha.

Tigertrack is up for preorder at Popcultcha.
I saw that, but even though they might be getting regular retail stock from Hasbro (and will be having the Gigawatt toy in October), I think they import products, like the exclusives that Hasbro Australia have said that they aren't importing here (like Tigertrack).

The Little Toy Company has listings for Dead Optimus Prime, Tigertrack, Rotorstorm, Greasepit and Exhaust (but wouldn't be getting them from Hasbro AU). Unfortunately not the 2-packs though.

I like that there's quite a few options with Gigawatt.
Really want a Siege Ultra Magnus but I'm guessing it'd be better to wait and hopefully find the Netflix version. I'm assuming that it'll be cheaper due to the sales? When would that most likely be anyway?
P.s. Thanks for the info, Griffin!

I need to remember to say in these updates that these notes are only for the retailers here, and that independent online stores might still import their own stock.

Do you know if we are getting the R.E.D. line?

Hasbro Australia is trying to get them here, and will let us know if they can.

I should mention, I caved in and bought the Thundercracker/Skywarp 2-pack of Ebay, because I didn't want to risk losing out altogether because of this ridiculous distribution crap. And then I'll probably need to do the same crap all over again for Ramjet and Dirge...
The 'takara' option is always a possibility too, but in my experience they've been just as unreliable (if not more so), especially around release dates.

Listing looks to have disappeared now, I was hoping the seeker 2 pack would arrive here but looks like I'll need to buy one off ebay.

If you use a Canadian reshipper you can still buy them from Amazon CA for around $90 plus reshipping fees.

Is shipping from Canada still as slow as it used to be, eh?

I saw the conehead 2 pack is popping up on ebay through the usually hong kong sellers, so I don't think this pack is going to be as hard to find as the seeker 2 pack. It doesn't appear to be as exclusive.

That's the one I want (along with Thrust). What are the chances of it landing here? I know that Thrust won't; is there hope for Dirge & Ramjet?

Best hope is for it to be available to us through Amazon AU via US since it's an Amazon US exclusive.

I was really hoping that Amazon Australia would have listed the US stock by now for the 2 2-packs (like they did for the Dead Optimus), but I'm fearing that they aren't going to be listed after this much time now.

The trouble there (apart from postage) is that the same thing will happen as has already happened with the others - sold-out quickly at pre-order, and never any re-stock.

Well I was wrong on it being easier to find, seems to be disappearing quicker than the other seeker pack, It sold out real quick on amazon. I caved and bought it off ebay, no idea if we'll see this here which really sucks.

Is there still hope for the Takara versions of all the seekers? Or is that what is selling on Ebay?

Tamara has confirmed that they’re going to be releasing the Thundercracked and Skywarp 2-pack and the Conehead 2-pack on their Twitter. No word on Sandstorm or Thrust, though.

The Skywarp/Thundercracker pack comes out in Japan in January, so still a loooong wait. If they are suddenly showing up on ebay again, it is probbably because they are back in stock at the US Target website... so if you know someone over there, maybe get them to buy one for you and ship it over (if it is cheaper than the ebay prices).
Unfortunately, US Target is one one online store that will cancel orders if it is shipped to a known shipping-forwarder (like Shopmate, which is owned by Australia Post). :(
The Coneheads 2-pack is also coming to Japan, but still isn't listed yet, so is likely to be some time after January over there... which is a reeeeally long wait.
