Transformers X World of Warships

The popular online naval combat game World of Warships is getting some Transformers themed ships.

World of Warships is a free to play PC game so if you want to investigate the game then there's no cost to check it out. That said I have no idea how much the Transformers ships will cost because free to play doesn't mean 100% free.

I was thinking that too. You would expect a Soundwave but maybe it was a colour based reason in they already had blue with Optimus.

Starscream and Shockwave also seem like better choices but it's a cool crossover nonetheless. Guessing they were limited in who they were allowed or something.

I hadn't heard of this game before today.
It seems like an odd pairing of Brands, and feels very forced (even more than the Angry Birds crossover). Especially with the strange choice of Rumble as one of the four Transformers characters to be used as colour skins to the warships. They couldn't use anyone more iconic as their second Decepticon?

I do occasionally use youtube, but I haven't seen those. I don't pay much attention to the ads.

I can't help but think it's a bit of a missed opportunity to get some, you know, actual Transformers with ships for alt-modes in there. Even if they just did a Tidal Wave and Broadside skin to go with the big-name ones.

Rumble would've been better as a frigate at best or tugboat at worst.

Soundwave's blue and yellow colour combo is a perfect navy look. Seaspray as well. Yet, opportunity went begging.

There is now a trailer for this crossover. Complete with bad Optimus, Megatron, Bumblebee and Rumble/Frenzy voice acting.
