I hope they are better than the previous Marvel and Transformers Crossover.

There's only one thing I love anywhere near as much as Transformers and that's the X-Men. So this feels made for me... but will see if it's something I want.

If they do a comic he *needs* to be a huge fanboy, he's got at least 3 different x-men power sets!

Cybertronian Cyclops with psychic knife and psychic claws. Optic blast effect would have been a nice bonus.

It's a good use of Hasbro's Marvel license. :)

Oh, I thought the big blast effect was the optic blast, er, on his arm. I agree that an Optic blast would've been nice. As a fanboy of that Cyclops design, me does wanty lots!

Should the wings in the alt-mode have been forward-swept instead of how they look in the promo images?

Straps and utility pouches were pretty popular on X-team uniforms in the 90s!

Id say it was more that Rob Liefeld forced them upon us and no-one had the good sense to tell him to stop.

This is the first one of these that I have to actively resist myself from committing to. Ectotron and Gigawatt have been interesting curiosities but I haven't felt driven to own them.

I loved the 90's X-men series, and feel this is a great combination of the two properties

Official images and info added to first post.

The size (8.5 inches) is about Leader size, which are usually US$50 in America... so this one is still a bit more than that, priced at US$65.
If it comes here (I haven't been told yet), that would make it about AU$120-150, based on what other exclusive items translate into here.

I think it looks nice.
Comparing it to Studio Series Jetfire, I think the most of the jet part on the top of the jet mode is the same (the panels that make up the jet mode that sit on the back of the robot mode), but the robot bits underneath (and legs/jet engines) are completely different.
