G1 Grimlock?

Was it ever seen in the G1 cartoon? The G1 toy sword was red plastic but on the boxart it was silver.

If this twitter discussion (https://twitter.com/damnyouwillis/status/1316403510641131520) is accurate, then it's silver in colour.

Could be wrong but Grimlock toys have pretty much almost always stuck to red, orange or clear.

Diaclone Grimlock has a silver sword, as well does the KO from back then and the Pre-History KO with the horn on its nose. His G1 box art has silver but as far as I know the toy only came with a red sword.
