Looks like a crappy third mode I used to make up as a kid....

Yeah, I don't think they've done too bad considering it was originally a tank. Which they could have left it as and you'd all still buy it (after much whinging, of course).

Slightly disappointed that my Super Megatron theory was incorrect, but it's still a cool and creative reuse of the mould.

I'm actually pretty impressed with the add ons used to make it a space ship mode, and retain the design of the wings in robot mode

Others elsewhere have noted that the silhouette lines up closely to Prime Megatron, so it's not entirely out of order - and just as realistic as Energon Megatron's jet form.

The head from the Urban Camo Selects Megatron would have been a better fit with the SG shape and character though.

The difference is... they haven’t actually kicked out Tank mode....

I was wondering if enough parts remained for him to still have his tank mode. I couldn't quite tell if the treads were all present and didn't see a picture of that mode.

I could be wrong but doesn't seem like they changed anything from Siege Megatron. Still has the gun sword too.

People have started making their own with the original Siege Megatron and they look basically the same.
