Roll and Combine 2-packs (https://news.tfw2005.com/2021/05/21/cyberverse-roll-and-combine-figures-first-look-433848) - Bumbleswoop (Bumblebee & Swoop) & Slugtron (Slug & Megatron).
These are a reworking of the RID-2015 Crash Combiner 2-packs, which looks to have a more complex transformation (the Crash Combiners were basically auto-transforming when you plugged the two toys together).
It is odd to see the Dinobot Slug paired with Megatron, and the box is labelled as a Decepticon pack... so... maybe a plot spoiler from the season 4 movies perhaps (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php/27490)?

A hidden listing from one of the American retailers (https://news.tfw2005.com/2021/07/01/transformers-bumblebee-cyberverse-adventures-warrior-dead-end-revealed-436647) has shown us a very small image of a Warrior class Dead End toy for Cyberverse.
The previous Dead End toy was a scout class toy, which was one of those small ones that didn't transform completely into an alt-mode... so if this one is still to be released, it will give us a proper car mode this time.
The image still looks like it has a very simplistic transformation though.

Nice.
I do despair about the stock photos though. I mean, I know they're done by an agency, and that they are done quickly and without instructions, but seriously, how hard is it to straighten the robot's legs...?

This Cheetor is pretty nice looking - can live without the snap on armour but not entirely sure he has front paws without it? If it was between this and the Kingdom toy, this one wins out.
JJJ
26th July 2021, 07:35 PM
Yes, he has paws without the armour gimmick. You can see them sticking out to the side of the torso in robot mode. The robot arms fold to the front, and form a deep chest/stomach, whilst the cat-mode forelimbs swivel forward to take their place. It's an interesting design decision, and honestly not one I expect at that price point. Not complaining though :)
And now the more I look at this, the more I'm looking forward to it. Score one for Cyberverse!

The robot mode looks nice, but a simple, cheap size-class doesn't allow for much engineering for transformation in addition to the cost of articulation (more joints means more parts).

I know a few people had trouble finding Thunderhowl (and completing the build-a-figure) so that he's repacked and still has the build-a-figure part, will be good news to some.

I wonder if they will still have the Maccadam parts included, if these are packaged as a new series... particularly if they don't also re-release the other six toys that come with parts.
Looking on the "released toys (https://www.tfw2005.com/boards/threads/newly-released-and-upcoming-toys-hasbro-edition.953417/)" listing on tfw last night, I saw that there are quite a few Cyberverse toys being re-released in the new green/yellow Dinobots Unite packaging, to significantly pad out the line for retailers, despite there being only a small number of new toys/moulds (in BOLD).
Tiny Changers (series 5) - Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ironhide, Wheeljack, Autobot Whirl, Grimlock, Megatron, Slipstream, Dead End, Dark Energon Shockwave, Soundwave, Sky-Byte (no new toys)
Scout (could be called wave 9) - Optimus, Megatron, Grimlock, Ramjet (no new toys) (now out in America (https://news.tfw2005.com/2021/08/03/transformers-bumblebee-cyberverse-adventures-scout-class-repacks-found-at-us-retail-438548))
1-step (could be called wave 11) - Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Wheeljack, Blurr, Repugnus, Megatron (Cybertronian Mode), Soundwave, Sky-Byte (no new toys)
Warrior (could be wave 10) - Dead End, Snarl (re-release toys not yet known)
Deluxe (could be called wave 6) - Grimlock, Soundwave, Thunderhowl (with one new toy - Cheetor)
Ultra (could be called wave 10) - Sludge, Ramjet (re-release toys not yet known)
Ultimate Class (could be called wave 6) - Optimus, Shockwave (no new toys)
New toy classes...
Roll N Change (wave 1) - Optimus, Bumblebee
Roll and Combine (wave 1) - Bumbleswoop (Bumblebee & Swoop), Wheelgrim (Wheeljack & Grimlock), Slugtron (Megatron & Slug)

The youtuber in the UK that seems to get his hands on toy samples (which would have to be legitimately coming from Hasbro UK), has done an unboxing of a Cyberverse Deluxe Slug toy (https://news.tfw2005.com/2021/08/16/transformers-cyberverse-dinobots-unite-deluxe-dinobot-slug-in-hand-images-439502), which we haven't seen yet... and was only a named product on the Walmart site.
(Hasbro only seems to care about showing off to dedicated collectors the more collector focused Generations & Studio Series toys these days, so the Cyberverse toyline is getting a bit neglected lately.)
Slug wasn't listed as part of wave 6 with the new Cheetor toy, so it is probably wave 7.

Two Ultimate Class figures have been found on Amazon America, which could be out in October - Hot Rod (https://www.amazon.com/transformers-tra-cyberverse-ultimate-hot/dp/b08tm2fcs4/) and Volcanicus (https://www.amazon.com/dp/b08tlv44xc).
Note - Volcanicus is made to look like the Generations Dinobot combiner, but is NOT a combiner... it still transforms into a beast though, that looks like a fuzor of different beasts.
For expensive Ultimate Class figures (the largest size class in Cyberverse), I'm really disappointed that they don't have 2 legs... just a big plastic stump like Transformers toys 35 years ago.

That $60 Hotrod looks like a $20 1-step toy... and such a wasted opportunity with the hood flame not being painted. It becomes the hand-weapon, so a yellow painted flame on the sculpted flame would have looked more impressive and eye-catching, as just the sculpting on its own gets lost.

A new Cyberverse Dinbots Unite toy has just been revealed, for release in October... almost a year after the toyline and cartoon ended.
It's a new Optimus Prime, with an alt-mode similar to TFPrime Bulkhead (https://news.tfw2005.com/2022/02/17/transformers-bumblebee-cyberverse-adventures-dinobots-unite-smash-changer-optimus-prime-revealed-450282).
Now if you look at the toy, it looks familiar... almost, Movie-like.
So what if the delay of the next Movie has forced Hasbro to release a number of Movie toys in different packaging, just so that they don't have Movie packaging out in stores without a Movie to advertise them (but Cyberverse toys and re-runs on TV could still help sell new Cyberverse toys).
It's the benefit of having the same character names and similar forms in each toyline, it makes it easier to release moulds in different toylines... and they have done it before, even recently with Cyberverse and Generations.

An official image of the new Optimus toy in packaging (https://news.tfw2005.com/2022/05/24/transformers-bumblebee-cyberverse-adventures-dinobots-unite-smash-changer-optimus-prime-packaging-images-457061), with the Dinobots Unite themed packaging, but without the Dinobots Unite labelling.
It also uses generic artwork of Optimus Prime, that doesn't match the toy inside.

Well this suddenly showed up on Amazon Australia last week (https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B09WXGMGNF/)... but not in-stock.
It is listed for au$69, and word from Hasbro Australia is that it was put up too early, as the stock is being released in October.
It gives us more official images to look at though.
