I ended up getting that exclusive off Amazon myself....but still we all paid overs!!


As for Earth mode Red-alert, for me I don't find it as necessary as what I did Bluestreak or Thrust since I have the siege version, so unless he pops up at regular pricing this will be a miss for me.

I don't particularly want to look a gift horse in the mouth (the Singapore dollar is pretty much at parity with ours, and postage won't be a huge amount), but this just seems too good to be true.

TFH and others get their stock straight from Hasbro Asia. Considering they're made in Vietnam, it makes sense they'd get them earlier. Oh and they're usually open to general retail too.

Basically, just because a Transformer is exclusive in US doesn't mean it's exclusive to US.

Hasbro in Asia (Hong Kong, which supplies to Singapore, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia) just about sells everything... because a "store exclusive" in America (or any western country) is only a restricted item within that particular country. Even the "exclusives" in HK seem to be available in independent toy stores as well, so if they want it (the independent stores) they seem to be able to buy it. (even SDCC exclusives can be found in Asia every year, as they aren't exclusive over there)

Wish I'd known all this a lot earlier, would have saved a bit of money on a few items, and probably would have obtained some things that I've missed because they were exclusive.

Never dealt with TFH before but may take some time to register on their site. Otherwise I'd contact them just to make sure your order went through.

Registering (and activating) took only a minute or two. I sent them a message via their contact page and it (the page) faulted...

The message I tried sending again just now seems to have gone through, as I've just recieved a copy by e-mail. I'm hoping that there's just some manual back-end part to the ordering process, rather than it being fully automated, and that the issue is that nobody's at work until noon :)

I keep getting "Access Denied" errors when trying to checkout.

I had to change the currency to USD to get past those errors.

Their site is a bit buggy. But I've had a response from them confirming receipt of my payment, and that they'll manually organise the order. I'll be getting a Paypal invoice for the postage ($16) shortly.

Pretty good if it works - around $45 for something otherwise very hard to obtain here, and then generally at twice the price or more.

Forearms are easy. Just pop them off.

Thighs however are secured to the knee with a pin.

Ratchet and Bluestreak were also available through Hasbro Asia but pre-covid Ratchet would've been bought in large quantities pretty quickly. Bluestreak wasn't too bad to get but postage was fairly high because of covid.

And The Falcon's Hangar is now sold out. I check in with them regularly, so this Red Alert listing lasted only a couple of/few days I think - I suspect TFH suddenly got a lot of Aussie customers.

It arrived today. This is most excellent. Will definitely keep an eye on TFH. Shame I missed the day or so when they had the new saucer Bumblebee up for order...

No silly sticker thing in the box. Don't care, it would simply have gone straight in the bin, but I am curious if this is a packing error or if it is deliberate because this was an exclusive and not a standard retail release.

Really get frustranoyed with these exclusives for companies that do not have retail branches in Australia.
Hasbro should offer sales of these toys via other retailers for Australians.
Assuming the scalpers don't buy them up and resell them.
Should restrict the sales to Australians only.

Had to either get friends in America to buy them for me or if I was lucky to find a non-scalper price, eBay America.

Runabout, Thrust, Bugbee, all had to be acquired via that method.

So far, had no luck securing a Red Alert.
Which is a shame, because I really want him as a friend for my Kingdom Inferno.
