TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE

There's an evil new force in the universe. One side note. It should be Gears not Seaspray next to Ironhide
Yeah, forgot about poor old Gears. Having said that, Gears is seated on Ironhide's right in the movie whereas here I got Seaspray just walking behind Ironhide and Red Alert. Ironhide's right is actually conveniently always off-camera in my shots, so technically you could say that Gears is still to his right -- just off-camera! :p I feel obliged to put Gears in another scene though. In the movie we don't really see him again... I might stick him on Prime's shuttle when he comes to reinforce Autobot City... it would make sense considering that we only see Jazz and Cliffjumper on Moonbase 1 when Unicron comes to devour it.

But yeah, I'm trying to chuck in a few characters who appeared in the pre-movie cartoon episodes but never appeared in the movie either because the toys weren't available when the movie was written or because their scene got deleted. Now that I think of it, I think Red Alert is meant to be on Earth in that deleted scene with Smokescreen, Tracks etc. coming out of Ultra Magnus. Ah well... it's not as if I'll be re-inserting any deleted scenes anyway. d:

So look out for more cameo appearances of Seasons 1 and 2 characters who didn't appear in the movie but should have! :D

Yeah, I'm about 75% done with the principle photography on that scene. I should be able to finish the shots tomorrow, then on the weekend I'll MS Paint them up. :)

Thanks! It took a couple of days. The principle photography for this part only took one evening. The MS Painting took longer. Part 2 is proving way more extensive because it's all action... that and the Decepticon raiding party is substantially larger than what we saw in the movie. ;) :)

i always pretended that the Combaticons and Stunticons were off attacking the Ark and Omega supreme, the movie would have been heaps better if every tf up to that point had at least appeared.

And instead of generics running around they could have introduced the Terrorcons etc, c'mon Hasbro, make a "special edition" of the movie for the 25th anniversary:rolleyes:

...but the Ark was abandoned when they built Autobot City. Teletran-1 would've been moved or, more likely, decommissioned. They probably scuttled the Ark. *shrug* The G1 cartoon does mention that the Autobots relocated their Earth base from the volcano to Autobot City but doesn't mention the fate of their old spacecraft (the Ark). In the G1 comics the Ark was actually restored and made flightworthy again... until Grimlock trashed it during the battle of Unicron, but then Shockwave and Starscream repaired it... until Ratchet blew up the engine room and crashed it into Canada... but then it got rebuilt in G2... until Fortress Maximus & Spike did a kamikaze. Poor Ark. :p

Yes I remember that episode when Trypticon attacks it for the first time, all the minibots take a stand against tryppy but still the volcano got trashed.

The way they destroyed the Ark in the cartoon is pretty rubbish, theres no violent explosion, nothing memorable, the hill next to the volcano just seems to fall on top of it. Heck, Teletrann 1 may still be alive under that landslide:)

Ah yeah, that's right. Well, there you go. I'm not going to feature that in the photocomic though, but it is an interesting theory. I have other plans for those characters. :D
