Years ago,
There was this one time when I was in a toy aisle & a little kid was holding a figure I really wanted.
So... I looked around for parents etc. & then bumped into the kid on purpose so that the figure fell on the floor. In the confusion, I picked up the figure & left in a flash of light... :D

Man that sucks! I used to be the king of leaving stuff on the bus way back in the day... musical instruments, sporting gear, anything I brought on with me. Now days I don't catch the bus and I don't carry so much stuff around anymore, so the only thing I ever leave behind is my wallet... at the pub. :o

well, i did open a MISB Machine wars soundwave, i traded it for 2 badly raped Aerialbots, this was before my foray into the community. Since then ive been swamped with junker and damaged airraids and fireflights.
Also, not buying MISB G2 American laser prime in 2005 for something like $80:(
and passing on Universe ultramagnus VS oilslick? :( They are both on my 'to buy whatever the cost' list

Yup! My logic dictated that there should have been a saw blade hidden in his arm. You don't show kids such an awesome gimmick without including it in the toy. I had no instructions or internets to tell me I was wrong :p
And for the record G1 wheelie should have come with a slingshot :D

Firstly, not really related to the topic and it wasn't myself doing the stupid thing.
To cut a long story short, Dad runs over neighbors brat kids' Optimus Prime trailer along with a few other toys they had left on the road, whilst returning from work. This happened back in 1991-92 I believe.
So basically it was a good lesson to be learnt by neighbors children, but bad for Prime unfortunately.

Well stupidest TF thing for me would be not realizing a KO from a real TF and missing out on a chance to buy an original Japanese Dinoforce. Back in the days when G2 was the current toyline but slowly dying out. (This was back in Phils) Robinsons Dept Store had heaps of them dinoforce figs (Monstructor with dinosaur pretender shells) on sale at about AU$7-10 converted and I dismissed them as just KOs then as I wasnt aware if they were true TFs or just "trying to look like ones". Plus the fact that I wasnt into Pretenders during those times. Then after a month I stumbled acroos Star TV showing TF: Victory in their early morning kids show, aaaaaargh it got me thinking those were the real deal! I went back about a week after Ive saved up enough money to buy at least 3 but they were all GONE and those freakish beast wars figures were all on the shelves:mad::mad::mad:. Had I known I wouldve had a complete Monstructor ( japanese version) for a real cheap price! Still smack my head a few times when I think about it. But it's taught me a lesson to take a second look at TFs when purchasing and do preemptive buying these days. Toy breaking I didnt do since I dont have much to begin with, unlike now :p

When Transformers premiered last year in Sydney I had Michael Bay autograph a limited edition #1 movie adaptation comic. I left the comic behind in the cinema - I went back and checked and it was long gone. :( I asked around folks here at OzFormers and at TAAU but nobody had seen it. *sigh*
Here's Michael Bay signing my comic book that I've since lost. *cries*

Ah man, that would have been an awesome keep-sake.
Now you just know that the person who took it is looking at this picture and thinking "Yes, that comic I found has a signature in purple marker, so it's for real!".
But I still have to give you a slap to the back of the head for leaving something so great behind. *slap*

Back in 1991 I was in Singapore on vacation with my family. I was given a $200 or so spending spree amount to use in Toys 'R Us. Instead of buying Fortress Maximus I settled with Lego, Aliens figures and vehicles, and some miscellaneous G1.5-2 bots. I can still remember the box being on a lower shelf and its size, as well as the box art and design which seemed about 80-90% accurate when I later compared it to scans on the internet.
